Stars Turn Out for Last Air Tattoo at Greenham Common

To mark the Royal International Air Tattoo’s 50th anniversary, a series of short ‘Gogglebox-style’ videos, called Bigglesboxes, were recorded, pre-Covid, featuring some of RIAT’s greatest moments as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. Tattoo founder member Tim Prince joins leading aviation expert and longstanding volunteer Peter March and the airshow’s senior commentator Ben Dunnell turn the clock back to 1983 and the debut appearances of the spectacular SR-71A and TR-1A.

Greenham Common 83: my first Air Tattoo, with the impressive missing man formation in honour of Sir Douglas Bader, who passed away in 82, if I'm not mistaken.
