Lol I sprayed a 175 shot on my stock bottom end fox for a long time and never had a problem with it small fords are a lot tougher than people give them credit for . Have fun with it man you’ve done a great job with your car.

A set of Promaxx heads (the good ones) a comp E Cam + and a ported cobra upper-lower intake, G Force T5, and some randoms gauges that would work. BUT I have no fox haha. I might just go carburetor for simplicity sake.

i have a black 95 5.0 im building, picked up some twisted wedge heads yesterday and that was the last thing i needed to overhaul the top end. your videos is half of whats pushing me to finish it, so i really appreciate it!

You know as well as I do that 302's bottom end can handle 500HP stock lol have some fun without worries buddy. SBF are built tough!
This motor on a 150 shot should be making over 500 crank, we’ll see I plan to dyno it soon

One of the group of guys from street outlaws was running a stock 302 block on a screw blower setup that was probably making over 800 at the crank. They did split the block in half eventually but it lasted longer than most would’ve expected. Some people say to change the firing order with a cam swap to prevent the front two cylinders from firing one after the other which supposedly puts too much stress on the first main cap starting the crack up the front of the timing cover.
Told ya the 150 would be a breeze. Can probably honestly got to about 175 hp with no issue but 150 is safe. 200+ is where stuff can go sideways rather quickly lol. Glad it’s working out for you and Onyx 😁👍💪

Sweet car just discoverd your vids really cool.. all the best with the racecar thats pretty awsome was my dream but now iam at the strip i got a procomp hei distributor are they ok for the money i too have plan to run a 150 shot.in car 6al 2 ignition and iam carbed i use the high to low areomotive reg all stock pump and linez works amazing thanks for ypur vids especially the wiring vid not my forte lol

What spark slugs and gap are you running?
Wide open throttle timing is 24 degrees and yes I run a window switch and I run .32 on the gap

Timing was locked on 26 with 100 and 24 with 150
As long as you have the fuel to go with it and don’t run it lean you’ll be fine
Should be good on fuel car has plenty of fuel pump for that.
Which spark plugs are you using for nitrous?
Ngk 5238, heat range 9

I run a 300 shot on mine takes it like a champ it’s got a fully built top end with forged pistons

Now all onyx needs is a progressive controller to help get it out the hole so you can put the gapp on all your buddies at the track. Love it. onyx will live a long time on the 150 shot
It should last it’s a pretty safe tune up I have it in now. And yes I would like a progressive controller so I can roll the nitrous in instead of a solid hit!

@@drewjackson4056 it hooked good on a prepped track with a 100 shot and e303 cam but only thing I’m worried about is the t5.
