I'm with you Garnt! Ate a whole carolina reaper with my in law family to show them how "tough" I was. It was an 1 hour onset, followed by 3-4 hours of puking and shitting. I could follow the pepper through the system. The only brake I had was some minutes of fetal positions, sweating on the bathroom floor...

i have the black widow sauce the heat is fine for me it just doesn't taste great one of my least favorite of the 40+ bottles of hot sauce i have but i also did the toe of Satan challenge and that is 9,000,000 scovilles it was extremely painful for a couple minutes that felt like 20 and then everything from my head to my fingers went numb the rest of the time i was eating it afterwards i had a stomach cramp that lasted about an hour but i still love spicy food and i'd definitely do the toe of Satan again no regrets

You know i used to drink Scorpion pepper hot sauce a lot to the point a Habanero tasted like a Jalapeno. And if you really want to have a bad time the Carolina reaper 2,483,584 SHU is only the 2rd hottest pepper and Pepper X is the hottest being around 3,180,000 SHU and the best part is the person that made the Carolina reaper made Pepper X and Pepper X is a placeholder name. Also Ghost peppers range from 855,000 to 1,041,427 SHU and Scorpion peppers range from 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 SHU and then it can vary by species of the peppers, also i was unfortunate enough to have a scorpion pepper hot sauce which means the peppers that made that sauce were ripe and sometimes soak them in vinegar and you can increase the potency of the Capsaicin which is what makes them hot.
Also fun fact it is said that Capsaicin promotes hair growth so if you are balding you might want to deal with the pain and slight chance that hair everywhere else will grow instead of the bald spot on your head
that's nothing compared to the extracts made from them, as hot sauces created without extracts will always be weaker than those created with extracts

Not really. It's theoretically possible, but you'd pass out before ever reaching the limits to bring your body danger.
Not directly, but Im pretty sure your body might not be able to handle the pain and certain body parts cease to work. Every human body reacts differently (obviously). And if you got any diseases, heart problems, an unhealthy lifestyle etc. you better not try the stuff garnt did because that could really make it worse for you.
If you ate 3 pounds worth of Carolina reaper in one sitting you might die unless you are acclimated to eating peppers that hot. Even then the damage of eating hot peppers is usually not permanent if you do get some scaring or actually burnt and at most you will just get painful shits for the next few months don't ask me how i know

I’m confused who this Garnt’s is...
Ive had hotter extracts than ghost pepper and its just not worth it having it on its own. Extracts in general just arent as good as using the actual pepper or a well made whole pepper based sauce. I collect hot hot sauces and even a super high scoville sauce can be tasty and great while a much lower scoville extract sauce can be hell.
