The Archon War started 3,700 years ago, and ended 2,000 years ago. This was the war between the Demon Gods.
The Cataclysm was a catastrophic event, that took place in Khaenri'ah 500 years ago. Forbidden Knowledge overtook the nation, and abyssal monsters started to pour out of Khaenri'ah, affecting the nations of Teyvat in the process. To quell the disaster, Celestia summoned the archons to fight against the monsters, when that proved to be ineffective, the sustainer of heavenly principles, destroyed Khaenri'ah, hence why her cubes are the only presence of the God's Wrath upon the Nation.
Archon War
Cause: Power Struggles among the Gods
Result: The Seven Archons ascending as the highest authorities in Teyvat
The Cataclysm
Cause: Khaenri'ah dabbling in Forbidden Knowledge
Result: Celestia destroying the nation.
Also, the lady in the Old Monstadt edit, is Amos. The lover of the Storm God, Decarabian, about 2,600 years ago. Venessa, is a red haired Muratan, that helped venti against the aristocracy 1,600 years ago. 1,000 years after the events of Old Monstadt.

King Irmin introduced Forbidden Knowledge to enhance the Kingdom's Technological Advancement. Rhinedottir created monsters that held the power of the abyss. For some reason the monsters began wreaking havoc throughout Khaenri'ah then spilled into the rest of Teyvat. In response Celestia, summoned six of the archons, to launch an assault on Khaenri'ah. With that, the sustainerxs cubes filled the sky....

This war was centuries ago, before Venti was even an archon, so Diluc's father could not have been alive then. Otherwise, the war would have been recent. This may be one of Diluc's ancestors due to the hair colour, but that is only speculation.

Ok this is not meant to be a rant but isn't Death apart of freedom? Stanley says that his friend died where the winds did not blow so his spirit could not move on, Venti helped Stanley's friend move on, in terms of Gods of death Venti is most like Thanatos rather than the Furies, (just for anyone wondering Thanatos collects souls that died peacefully while the furies were found on the battlefield as they were violent creatures and I BELIEVE(need to reread the lore on the furies so I apologize if I get this wrong) would sometimes cause death in battles for there own amusement. I don't know why everyone seems to be in agreement that no one else knows he's a death god when a regular citizen (Stanley) knows that the wind collects the souls, to me its kind of strange, and it seems everyone makes it like he's evil rather than a peaceful god like Hades or Thanatos (both in mythology standpoints are some of the most chill gods in Greek mythology)
But all things aside i loved the video the reactions were great, there was alot of talking not just facial changes, and they seemed very in character with there game counter parts great job
