The boat build is in full swing....and I am still worried about sponsors though. I have sent one of my fans off to Dusseldorf Boat Show to create some opportunities, so let's see what happens.
The Odisea 48 from Odisea Catamarans has just started to get built in Vietnam. The design is complete, the paperwork has been done and now the factory has had 4 days to start the job and they are welding like madmen. Finally the wait is over, the Elcano World Challenge will begin in 2024 people.

We did a 118' S & S motorsailor in Seattle WA. I had a 16 man welding crew but all the tanks were internally welded by one man. Vo. From Vietnam. He was the only guy who would fit! 😁

Looking good! Wow. I have concerns though about water accumulation in the inaccessible areas like in the bow, and this internal moisture corroding away without access to inspect or repair.
You can have a hatch if you like
Pete if your going to get the best out of your electric motors and regen your props are going to be critical not just the diameter and pitch but also the abillity to feather them and even reverse them to get the best regen.
I think if you want to get a feel for whats possible look up everything you can on the Windelo 's.

It's remarkable how fair the shell plates are coming out. Straight to paint?!!!
They could stamp those panels to fine tolerance standard in seconds. Casting the other components with locating tabs for order of mag improvement.
