Cubs celebrated game 4 so hard because they knew that it was probably their last win of the year. They were just glad to get one win in the series.

This Team was extremely special, the World Series win this year healed us, but it's still gonna be hard to recover from this year's loss. I'm just grateful that a most players from 2017 won it in 2020.
I hate how the tbs commentators are more excited about the Cubs winning that one game than the dodgers winning the series
GN I didn't watch much of the cubs' nlds so sorry. I was just a little mad when the commentators had more excitement for a game ending double play than a team going to the World Series.
It had been obvious that the Dodgers were going to win the last game for at least an hour before the end, hence the lack of excitement.

The Cubs last year suppose win but the dodgers were close in defeat. Everyone from Ron darling to the others announcers cubs were lucky to get that one game Arrieta cubs not in the same league it's was not close Dodgers 2017 still aren't finished feels good so far making believers.

I remember watching Game 6 with my Dad, a life-long Dodger fan. He was so sure that the Dodgers were going to blow the series, as they had before. But as the Dodgers lead in the game grew, and it became more and more apparent that they were going to win, i watched as the emotion and happiness crept over his face. I know the Dodgers didn't win that world series, but to me and to him, the first time they made it was the best one of all.
Thanks for adding Andre's homer to the mix. He totally swung the momentum back in our favor when we needed it most, just like he always does.

As a Cubs fan this series just feels like a fever dream. Like it happened and I watched it happen but I feel like I have no memory of this series. Crazy how we scored first in the first 3 games and lost them all
It was a tough series. We played some of our worst baseball and the dodgers were at the top of their game.

Dodgers build a juggernaut of a team that year and the years following Andrew Friedman is one the great executives of this sport probably the best one the Dodgers are set to be a great team even for years to come some of their core players are very young still in their prime and they got 4 legit top of the rotation starters right now in 2022 so I believe they’re In great shape to be a pennant contending team for a while

Dodgers lineup was a lot healthier last year. BP was really strong too. This year the Dodgers had some big injuries to Seager and Turner which has hurt the BP and they lost some key bp help Morrow and Watson. The Starting pitching for the Dodgers this year is pretty strong though. Will take the Dodgers some time to get going again with the new additions of Manny and Dozier both of which have been hitting well.

Difference between the 2016 Dodgers team vs 2017 Dodgers. In 2016 Dodgers had so many injuries but still made it the playoffs and lost to Chicago. 2017 rematch the Dodgers had a healthy team and crushed the Cubbies.

Dodgers ended the Cubs chance at a repeat, getting revenge from the year before's defeat by the Cubs in the NLCS rematch, and we know what happened in the World Series with the Astros and knowing what we know with the Astros and what they admitted, but as a Dodger fan, and fans from everywhere that are Dodger fans, I chose to look back at 81, the year we won it all and in that year's Division Series, in a best of 5, we beat the Astros coming from 0-2 down to win 3 straight at Dodger Stadium, so when I read or hear something about the 2017 World Series with the Astros, as a Dodger fan, I go back to 81 and look at the highlights of that series, that they came back and won, and eventually winning the title, so that's my response to 2017.
