I know we akways tell Kayla not to worry and just have fun and use all packs she wants, so not to limit her creativity and enjoyment of the game, but it's rly cool how worried she is to make it inclusive for those who can't afford to spend and just have the base game

Speaking from experience, often times having restrictions, parameters, etc when making art usually makes it easier to make art, if that makes sense. It takes away some of the choice paralysis and forces you to employ more creative problem solving

For wedding dresses; it’s normal to be unsure. It’s normal to feel weird in them. It’s normal to not cry. I know the chances you read this is slim, but my biggest advice is what could you wear for several hours? I love my dress, in part because it’s so soft and comfy. But at the end of the day, remember that it’s just a dress
A chimney with no fireplace is not a big deal. Many old houses are like that. We have TWO chimneys and no fireplace lol!

@@elorajoao Yes, they got officially married during a rough part of covid (iirc Dan's family couldn't have even gotten a flight if they wanted to, idk if it was during closed borders or just an issue with airlines), so they didn't have the party/event part, which they are having now, a bit delayed ^^

One way to do creative and pack-limited builds would be to do spin the wheel challenges with 1 pack max per room in addition to whatever else you spin, so you don't have more packs than rooms.
It might also give you some fun challenging things such as "let's do a my first pet stuff and orange kitchen" or "here do a cottage style and bathroom clutter nursery"!

The horse ranch mirror wardrobe does function as a mirror. I dad to get rid of it one time as my sims wouldn't leave it alone
Love it!!!! Looks great. I actually love the limited packs because it makes it usable by a lot more people when downloaded from the gallery and that’s just sooooo nice to do for others. Thank you Kayla!
Now I have all of the packs, kits, etc. and I can download this just the same and add in/remove things as I like. The only thing I’d change is the upstairs vines that “grow” out of the roof. I’d just leave it at the corners of the house that grow from the ground.
I like the idea of you occasionally building a simple home with limited packs, but not completely basegame. We've already received a lot of base game homes from you, people can always look them up on the gallery, plus people who want really crazy base game houses will probably opt for those ones with custom furniture and the TOOL mod.

I just went wedding dress shopping too. Best advice I could offer is don’t look at the pictures of yourself in the dress after the appointment and stop looking at stuff online! Trust your choice and don’t second guess it 😂

I watch all of your builds and I love that you think about us being able to download them with limited packs, but I’d love to see you go really wild with no budget and no limit to packs once in a while.
Or maybe do a two build video where you do one with limited packs and one with the same shell but go crazy.

Hey! Here's an idea for a video that I had while watching this (which was very fun btw lol) what if you choose two random, and very different packs, and attempt to build a house with them, finding a way to make them work together! I'm sure it would be quite fun!

Hey simsi I have an idea for what I call THE ULTIMATE BUILD CHALLENGE
Here are the rules
1. You can only use 2 random packs plus the base game.
2. You must use round walls in some way.
3. No mistakes, if u place an object you cannot move it after.
4. You must have the cupcake machine
5. Your house must fit at least 5 sims
6. You can't use the same house plant more than once.
5. The extior of the house cannot be blue, yellow, or white.
6. You have 5 minutes to use move objects once your build is complete. You can not use it at any other time.
I hope you give it a try 🩵💜🩵💜
Build idea: I would love to see your take on a Mediterranean courtyard style house where all four sides are surrounded by house. I'm tempted to try, but I've only been playing for 2 months.
Also, I personally have jungle adventure. So, I wouldn't mind that as a pack. Personally the hard part is making the courtyard useful while also having enough house around it.

I've watched you since you first started on CZcams and it's pretty cool to see how far you've grown over the years. I think it's so admirable what you did for st. Jude children's hospital you are so inspiring and legendary for that. It really shows the type of person you are. I'm happy for you lilsimsie and you deserve to be proud of yourself and I know you'll continue to do great things! I'm not sure if you would want to but I think The Sims team would be better with you in it I think that would be pretty neat. I'm surprised you haven't been offered a career with the sims yet! I think a fun limited pack challenge would be renovating veiwers homes, only using the packs they have. Like, if there was a specific hashtag on the galary. In the desc of the build, we would put what packs we have. Maybe additional challenges, too, like using the budget given when we have X amount of sims (if i started the game with, say, 5 sims, for example). Or like, only a certain style or color pallate.
Just a silly suggestion, you dont have to do it.
Kayla! You should do a build challenge using only the default game camera setting, no moveobjects, no alt placing! Love your content girl 🥰

I just thought of the stupidest build challenge. You have to spin a wheel and that determines the max price of an item. So if you spin 100, each of the items you use have to be 100 simoleons or less

I still think it's crazy that in the Sims 2 not only did you have to pay for terrain paint but you had to pay even if you were putting the same terrain paint on itself.
Ok loving this build firstly, i try to challenge myself with starter homes on limited pack items and fail every time. I suck at restraint 😂 also, a question if anyone can answer this one for me please 🤞 how do you raise/lower placement of items in build/buy mode? I can see lilsimsie placing things like the ivy on the outside of the house and she's taking it up and down freely, and I really want to know how to do that pretty please 🙏😊
To save some money use the bigger can light and size it down.

My problem with when the debug vines are used is that they are in the way for gameplay so I always have to delete them if I play in builds that have them on every corner :(
maybe build a house using only the oldest packs (before 2016-2017 or something)
i dont like most starter home builds, since they end up looking very similar (furniture wise) bc you end up using only the cheapest stuff
You should start a series reviewing starter homes you saw and liked
As a kid playing Sims 2 if a family had too much money, I used it up by painting grass. 😅 Back then terrain tools were not free.
My wedding dress got lost in the mail 1.5 weeks before wedding, so I think your shopping will be more successful 😂 And the worst part is that my dress was in my city, they just couldn't find it, so me and my husband drove to the warehouse, the manager said on the phone that he doesn't have time for this and I said that I will come there, miraculously they found it in 5 minutes. He just didn't wanted to. I hate doing stuff like that, but I had no choice. And Kayla, check twice if the shoes you plan to wear don't rub you!
