- Former ANC Women's League President and National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula says the late Zoleka Mandela must be celebrated for being bold and brave for sharing her life journey.
For the first time, Mapisa-Nqakula has poured her heart out about her relationship with late ANC stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. Since Madikizela-Mandela's passing, there have been issues raised about her relationship with some women who once led the ANC Women's League.
International news editor Sophie Mokoena spoke to Mapisa-Nqakula on the margins of the BRICS Parliamentary forum's media briefing with the actual event starting on Wednesday 27th September 2023.
