@@yoshiwaffles6682 Do you mean Catan Universe? It's "free" to play on steam/mobile but is a bit buggy. It does have the expansions, but to be honest, only Seafarers of Catan is actually worth it to spice things up (adding ships and islands to explore is a decent addition, that doesn't detract from the core mechanics). The other, Cities and Knights make the game needlessly more complex (you have to deal with barbarian invasions that can destroy your cities, knights that you can upgrade and move around on the actual board, three more rare resources, city improvements...) and in that, makes the game more dull. Catan is supposed to be a easy to learn gateway boardgame and is perfect as it is. Honestly, board game expansions are very much hit-or-miss in my opionion, some make the game much worse if you use them. If you just want to play Catan, this one (Colonist) is a much better verison.
@@criwall hard disagree, Catan by itself is so much more dull after playing Cities and Knights, adds a lot more decisions to the game so people are less fucked over just by bad luck
@@HQofrandom That's fair, and I do play it from time to time and totally understand that people might see Catan as too simple. I just don't think more choices are necessary a good thing, especially when the core game is simple and easy to learn. Sometimes less is more and if you want complex games there are far better ones than C&K Catan, in the end it's still very much luck of the die.
MALF decided not to be a villain for once and was punished by the gods with no sixes for avoiding his natural role.

I’ll say it. There has to be asterisk placed on this victory. Without MALF’s constant role as the villain to pepper nl, this win is nothing more than a mickey mouse ring.

I watched this while i was falling asleep and I had this weird dream that was like a cross between being a village manager in this game and then elden ring where i was being summoned to fight other settlements.
Brain weird.
Watching NL play this has gotten me to play it. And we have similar play styles. Fly under the radar, get some DC points without anyone knowing, and get some lucky rolls to steamroll towards the end

Maybe it's just weird people around me but I've heard from at least a few people that Tokyo Drift is actually their favourite Fast and Furious movie.
No, it's definitively one of the GREATEST - if not, the greatest - FF movie of the whole series.
Mind you, I've only seen up to Fast Five but Tokyo Drift completely changed stunt driving. The car scenes in FF 1 & 2 (not talking the blue screen scenes) are BOOORING and stale as fuck. So many fast, tight turns that would've looked sooo much better with slides

If anyone decides to play this if you're a new player you want to play Fast speed. Very Fast is basically for experts or just no trading. Only sucks if someone is slow with their turns, but not having time to trade sucks when getting into the game.

I was also looking for how he could have won on that turn, but I think he was just a little bit short. His best chance was to play the knight, if he stole anything except an ore, he had the win.

Hey nl, could you tell me how exagerated are the rumors about the death of "react court"?
This has to be THE most scuffed catan game the crew has played yet.
NL start with no wheat spot (which is the most important recource in the game) and can''t even reach to one because Malf and Sip are already contest for it. Should defo go for the sheep port first since you'll get 2 house on the 8 bricks combines with 2 houses on the 10 woods, making his freedom of movement unmatched in this game, and as you can see in the game, he produced a shiz ton of sheep, which can cover his weaness of not having a wheat spot.
Malf wasted a bunch of roads early game for no reason despite having 0 access to brick and he can't even reach any port, and he's competing agains Sip which have both good brick and wood spot. This game was doomed for him in the very start (Also, if you start the game with "you're gonna make an enemy" don't wonder why you get targetted. It's like jumping into an MMO sever with PvP on all the time while severly under level to eveyone else).
Kory is new so there's not much to say here, but him and Sip can delay NL sooooo much if they just don't trade him wheat early and just start trading for wheat early. He's arguably has the best starting point out of the four, mostly because the other three are just very bad :'D.
Sip can defo play better at the begining, like picking the 5-2 stones with a 3for1 port to block NL expandsion and contest Malf on both side for that juicy 6 wheat, further speezing him in and make him regret his initial placement.
NL 11 wheat, 9 sheep, 4 rock would of been better for you.
