You need to understand the full story of the X series. Including KH X Chi which is the original Web browser game for the X series. The story of that is actually different. Well it's the same but takes plays before Unchained X. Its board to explain but there are bodies on youtube about it. Just search KH X full story or something and you'll find it

I busted out in laughter immediately while flashbacks of needing that heal ran through my head. That was great.
Donald was saving up that mana for a special attack
you have to set him on using healing items immediately, that affects his use of spells
DX yeah but sometimes he still will heal goofy or himself first. Or heal me when my health is basically full
Well you see, you just gotta go into the custom menu, and make it so donald never uses his attacks, and set his heal priority to max. Then he will always heal you so long as you at the very least stub your toe...

He is Sora’s nobody. He also inherits the appearance of a kid named Ventus. Ven being someone who Sora saved in the past. That allowed the 2 to be connected, and thus why Roxas looks the way he does. Same can be said for Vanitas as to why he looks like Sora.

@ahmpire It was stated in KH2’s secret reports that Namine was simply a “special” nobody. Cuz while she is Kairi’s nobody, she was actually created within Sora’s heart (when he stabbed himself back in Kingdom hearts 1). That special situation she’s in is also what allowed her to control the power of memories, Sora’s memories specifically.
However, this explanation is way too broad for my liking and I’m inclined to believe there’s something more to it. I genuinely believe this is something that will be further explained in a future KH game. Because your right, despite similarities, Namine doesn’t look like Kairi at all.

@soge To be fair, it’s downright impossible to understand the story of Kingdom hearts in its entirety considering it’s not even finished.
Every game has ended open ended in many different ways, as well as leaving us with unanswered questions that will get answered in future games. Some of which have been given an answer.
Kingdom hearts since it’s beginning back in 2002 has a story that is constantly continuing with every new release. One reason why it’s important to play all of the games.
Overall tho, I understand the story myself. The things that have been resolved at least.

Bitch please, I played KH1 Final Mix, the original Chain of Memories on GBA, Re:Chain of Memories, KH2 Final Mix, 358/2 Days, BBS Final Mix, Re:Coded, DDD on 3DS, DDD HD, 0.2, watched all cutscenes of Union Cross and Back Cover, KH3 and Re:Mind all individually, literally EVERY SINGLE game in the franchise, and I still have no idea what's going on.

It’s very easy: Heartless usually have yellow eyes and every Unversed have red eyes that are position to that of an emotion. Also if they look like they are made of foil and have no eyes then they are a high or low ranking Nobody.

The reason why I love this series is because my music teacher teacher introduced it to me a long time ago when she was probably one of the only friends I had and we were always excited about the possibility of kingdom hearts 3 coming out, unfortunately due to health complications she passed any several years ago so this series has always been a representation of my friendship with her and how that connection will never die, and the fact that I can now play and beat kh3 today is so meaningful to me.
Anna I'm happy you were there for me when I was probably at my saddest times and I'm happy I finally got to see a conclusion to a story that we loved.

The base game didn't explain how Xion came back at all.
Last time we say Xion before 3 she was inside Sora's heart with Roxas and Ventus at the end of DDD.
Then she just like... turns up in the keyblade graveyard as one of the darkness's?
But if that body was a replica, and it had an xehanort hear in it. Then it shouldn't have looked like Xion because Replicas reflect the heart thats in them.
Which means (again, without any knowledge of re:mind) that that replica body had to have had Xion's heart in it.
So, with only what is in the base game of 3.
At some point during the story, Xehanort stole Xion's heart from inside Sora, put it in a replica for no discernable reason, and then... brainwashed her into fighting for evil????

KH is a great game but let's not pretend that it's storytelling is phenomenal. Most people are playing this for the gameplay anyway.
@naje Completely disagreed. The story is easily digestible, just as long as you actually pay attention. The writing is actually really freakin spot on if you do this. Also I feel like people exaggerate how many retcons there are. At least Ives that actually affect the story in major ways.
Also the side games aren’t obscure anymore. They are all on ps4 so there’s no excuse.
I’m not gonna pretend the story is phenomenal, but it’s a lot better and well written than people give it credit for.

You can‘t explain the story to anyone.
To be honest you can explain the lore without problem. Its just that, like the video shows, people tries to explain every single detail like if all of that were important to understand the series.
I honestly love the last question. I wish there was less focus on Sora and a well rounded focus on others. Kinda my issue with KH3. Let's bring in all of the characters you love into one place and they can all have 1 cutscene, but that's it. Sora gets the other 95% of the game. PLUS, Terra was the original chosen one!!!
ok, so the "Why is it about Sora" thing actually makes sense, because he was the only one of the three who wasn't handed a keyblade, and he instead had to basically force destiny or the keyblade or kingdom hearts or whatever to notice him and that's how he got the keyblade. that's why it's focused on him, because it makes for more interesting storytelling.

The reason he could weild a keyblade at all was because of Ventus. Ventus' light was a keyblade master, or getting to that point, by that time. So Sora's eventual initial weilding of it was almost entirely because of Ventus.

@@spark9189 correct. As for why? That's explained in the game too. Sora's heart at the time finally was stronger than Riku's, plus Riku again chose darkness, and the keyblade in question (of unknown origin) went back to Sora.
He didn't force anything, he just, at that moment, realized what was most important, and his stronger heart turned the tide.

"Why is this whole thing about sora?" You ask? Because sora was the only one who wasnt GIVEN a keyblade by another keyblade wielder. The keyblade itself has chosen sora,not the people around him. Thats what KH used to be all about. Now its just nakama-power used as mcguffins.
Honestly I'm sure it's the keyblade he has not where he got it from. If Riku had Sora's keyblade it would be about him seeing as it's the keyblade thousands died to obtain. Though I'm concerned we are both wrong so I'll like anyway.
The keyblade didn’t choose him, it chose Riku. Sora just got sloppy seconds because Riku’s heart became influenced by darkness.
@@always_serpico yes it did. Riku was actually handed a keyblade by terra. Sora got the keyblade from nothing. You'd think that there would be a lot more keyblade wielders if getting a keyblade was as easy as waiting for someone to fall to darkness.
The keyblade went to sora cuz it saw the light in him and actually preferred sora over riku.
And once he got the keyblade he was just like riku,entitled to wield one indefinetly.
Um didn't ventus' heart inside sora which directly influenced him having a keyblade. I mean he was connected to him before he even had a keyblade.

Ventus wasnt even planned when KH1 was being made so I doubt that ventus was the reason sora got the keyblade.
And prior to ventus being in soras heart,sora was the one completing ventus' broken heart.

And it has been stated multiple times that sora was chosen by the keyblade. Not given to via a ceremony,nor was it passed down,sora got it because the keyblade chose him.

I’ll admit that I was one of the people who was absolutely infuriated at how Kairi was treated in base KH3. But I personally thought Re:Mind fixed that.
All I wanted was Kairi to have a moment to shine. And she got that.

What I hated the most about Donald in KH was even after not relying on him to heal me by just using my own spells and potions, Dude waste a heal on me after I healed myself only to get killed by boss.

@do deker Tons of characters arcs were concluded very satisfyingly (while also setting up future ones), villains were resolved, had some of the most epic moments in series history, & the final battle with Xehanort was just awesome.
I’d argue it’s one of the best finales in any game.

You know what's sad? Is that in KH2 they had to make Cure a full party heal just so Donald could finally heal the player more often instead of just heal either Goofy or himself 😂
