- Consider this: we're now closer to 2050 than we are to 1997. Quite a thought, isn't it? If you're 27 or older, share your thoughts on this video. I'm intrigued to hear if life feels markedly different now compared to back then. Change remains the only constant in our lives, extending to geography and society. Ever wondered what the US will be like in 2050? What major transformations can we anticipate, and how might our cities evolve over the next 26 years? While predicting the future is challenging and uncertain, let's venture some educated guesses. Join me as I explore five events that could reshape America by 2050.

5 Immigration and Longevity
First of all, we might want to take a look at what will happen to the population in the US over the next 25 years. Will it grow, or will it shrink? According to projections from the US census, the United States is expected to experience significant population growth. .
---
4 Climate Change
Have you ever wondered how climate change will affect our society? It isn't just about hotter temperatures and rising sea levels; it's about how these changes will affect where we live and how we live
3 High-Speed Rail Projects
The United States stands on the brink of a transportation renaissance, with ambitious high-speed rail projects poised to revolutionize population distribution by 2050. Despite historical delays and challenges, these initiatives hold the promise of reshaping how Americans move and live.
2 Changes in Urban Areas
So, we've delved into how the new railways could potentially reshape America, but what about the cities themselves? Will they undergo significant changes? According to current trends, it's likely.

Oh and don't forget that fertility rates HAVE dropped because you can't afford to raise a child in THIS ECONOMY.
Wildfires ARE a NECESSITY for some habitats as the trees for some reason will only seed the ground after the cones are burnt up. I suggest you look into it.
Actually, to my understanding, hemp can be used to replace all wood. We could replace the trees and leave them be while using hemp instead. Everything I've ever seen on hemp and the many ways it can be used, such as insulation and buildings, paper, clothes, toilet paper, and paper towels. Just to name a few and to my understanding grows sooo much faster than trees. It sounds like a great crop, very useful, and if it grows that fast and has that many uses, it could be sold cheaper.
...... and I'm sure someone is going to try and jump my shit for my comment, for something, or just because I look like a target to them.
I have not 1 fk to give I do not plan on discussing my thoughts, I don't see any need to explain myself. Did I mention idgaf? It was literally a thought from a person who just wants to be left alone. Thanks 😊
You're right from what I know about hemp. It grows pretty darn fast & can be used for a multitude of purposes. Would be much wiser if the powers that be would allow it but those in charge are typically idiots! LoL!
Does anyone watch these videos before posting? The background music was way too loud in relation to the narration. It was difficult to hear everything being said due to the music.
I graduated in 97 and the pace of things are now where I wished they always were.
Most people now aren't old enough to remember what this country was in the 60's, 70's, 80's even 90's.
You think it's cool now?
You think the coming future will be good?
You will never know what you missed, and how far we have fallen.
Have a nice day.
Yes, the World Wide Web has transformed my world since 1997.
You left out Brightline West, the high-speed rail corridor between Las Vegas and Los Angeles that just broke ground!
Of the immigration, how many will be illegal?
2 many
Boy I really hope I won't be around by 2050...
I will be 84 years old by then.
I will be too old and this world will be a horrible place to be...
IF there's anything left by then the way things are going, probably not!
#1-taxes and insurance costs will quadruple.
After the coming pole shift no one can know.
Too much clickbait.
Growing trees?
The US has more trees now than it had 100 years ago. The growth of new trees has been increasing since before WW2.
Great video and information !
Politics will make the last 2 items 20 × longer than it should if at all.
Why decline of population in PA & CA?
The California High Speed Rail Project has had so many set back and over runs that it won't be completed for decades, if ever. The construction has been very poorly ran and it won't incentivize anything anytime soon. It was a project that forced through without proper planning. Hardly a project I would hold up as a project to promote high speed rail.
I highly doubt the predictions my opinion people already moving out of California and New York they are moving more to the middle of the United States a lot of people are tired of the the BS that goes into the big cities
I have heard some weird things before and this rates at the top. All you have to do is look at ancient history we are just repeating it. Is no surprise Check it out do some reading.
If the United States somehow survives to 2050 without falling into another civil war (which is seemingly inevitable as of now), we may lose the entire state of Florida to rising sea levels, forcing most of the population to relocate to other states like Texas (which I moved here from Oklahoma), completely replacing Florida as the top destination for moving from the rest of the country.
I never visited Florida in my entire life, but thing I hate about Florida is its own residents, they committed some of the weirdest crimes not only in the United States, but even the entire world.
Quite ignorant post
Modelling/ extrapolation… the further you go into the future, the more wrong you tend to be
Hail Oden
you asked im 60 things have not changed 1 iota everybody are still out for themselves and i am old and short and ugly and poor still the same for me heheheheheheh
Thats cute you think anyone little on America will still be here in 2050
I know this sounds crazy, but I have the ability to see into the future and unfortunately you will pass away in a tragic car crash this summer. Please get things get in order and tell your family how much you love them. The good news is that reincarnation is real, and you will be reincarnated as an immigrant from Guatemala who will be born in 2027 and sneak across the American border in 2048, allowing you to experience America (or what’s left of it) in 2050. I pray for you, my friend. 🙏 Good luck in your next life! ❤
@@RedRabbleRouser Me next, do me! Please tell me things will finally be ok because they’ve been awful the past 5-6 years 😢
Right Im baffled by that
This video was trite.
I know Jesus I love him and all need that closeness
that even sounds lame...more than likely an ASI mass extinction will occur before then...if that fails to materialize then ull soon wish that it did...
Deportation in the works
2030 is what will same 2050 if we survive the magnet flips in 2030 to 2037 too more the sun will speed up earth
Yeah that’s very great but what’s also great is that the cities and entire world will be empty eventually with collapse because of so much destruction we done ☑️
Insane curiosity if you did not know Jesus you can!if you confess to Jesus your sins and ask him lord over your life you will be saved!if you get any questions you can ask!
Did he have a belly button?
INSANE curiosity, Was he a Righty or a Lefty?
Jeeze go away
@@oliverchapman51177 way do you not believe in Jesus we can tell about it
@@mansionbookerstudios9629 Ok but did he like smooth jazz or Egyptian, considering Jesus is based off of an Egyptian God named Horus. You don't even know who you worship.
