I think this makes a lot of sense for airplane travel to shows. Less hassle than getting your pedal board through security.
That was a very informative review. Some of the effects did not do a lot for me, but there are some good features with this unit.
So, what did you guys think of the ISOLO PRIME? For those that need complete freedom on/off stage, and want control over their own effects, I think it could be a compelling choice! Leave your thoughts down below 👇
This is so useful. Was on the verge of picking one up until I heard your sound comparison. I’ve played a Shure beta 98 for years. There was a very audible buzz on the Cloud mic and it has a thinner sound. The Beta 98 has more warmth. Also the Cloud mic picked up loads of Pad noise. You get a little on the beta 98 but the Cloud mic sounds like drumming your fingers on a table top. Not good! Also, I use a Yamaha MG10XU mixer and this is no match for the reverbs on there.
Recently I’ve started using the NUX B6. It’s great. Lovely tone. Although I still carry my Beta 98 because sometimes the NUX B6 gets interference.
wow. i am about to buy the nux B6 too! i dont like using my beta 98 on all gigs since i am fearful of breaking the cable to belt preamp!
@@Jazzmarcel The NUX isn’t perfect. Some gigs I can’t use it on as the connection gets interference. But it’s mostly good. I have a Shure Beta 98 wireless system as a back up.
I'm a beginner who wants to buy a tenor saxophone but can't decide between the Yamaha YTS-280 Tenor Sax and the Jean Paul USA TS-400 Tenor Saxophone, or if you have any recommendations in the 1000-1200€ price range.
Hey Jeremy, great video!
I'm really interested in hearing more about the Shure beta 98h.
Do you have a wireless radio pack that you plug it into? If it's an xlr output would you need an adapter to fit most packs?
Hey, thanks! The Beta 98 comes in a wired or wireless version - personally I’ve only ever used the wired version, which is a standard XLR connection and requires 48v phantom power. I think the wireless version comes with a mini-xlr plug which connects to a wireless pack. I’m pretty sure getting a mini-XLR to standard XLR converter would be pretty straightforward if you ever wanted to use the wireless version in a wired configuration. Hope that helps!
Thanks!
sounds pretty good!.......my complaint is it dam expensive !
Excellent product BUT that velcro clip SUX ! It was constantly falling off ! So I made sure it would never fall off again . I super glued that velcro clip together . Problem solved it has never fallen off since ...

Totally unreliable and I cannot use it on a gig. It cuts out signal so there is no sound. Extremely unreliable.
I’m using shure wireless system for a years. Shure sounds much MUCH better on the stage, also in the studio.
I have baught cloud vocal set, and its worse then I expected. There are noises, thet you cant reduce, effects are poor and you cant compare it to proffesional stuff. Buttom line, not a professional equipment! Not good value for the money!
Needs a power supply, doesn't work without batteries 👎 very expensive. Nux is Super and much more affordable. 😊
Moral of the story: NEVER play with a "DJ".
Only hurl insults at them.
the Shure is warm, reedy. no honk. if you add a bunch of crap electronics with no true bypass it's a piece of shit
