On of these series that stays with you no matter how long has it been since you watched it.
The part of kids managed to be better than the first season, which was already pretty darn wonderful

I love how production on the song was stripped back slightly for season 2. It mirrors the more subdued and pensive mood of the character's lives post-death.
The scene where they all walk together? Masterpiece
Could it be any more perfect? This series really spoke to my heart: the theme, the plot, the cast, the music, the setting, they all worked together and lead to a masterpiece

Countrycowboy08 lol don't want to sound like a know it all, but no, big little lies is not contending as a miniseries for season 2, but that would mean they'd go against game of thrones, so still smart for HBO that it's in the race next year and not this year.
For performances maybe but not for writing sadly.

I always enjoyed the cut from the mother driving to their kid(s) in the back seat, kinda gutted they got rid of that. But other than that, I’m loving the new opening.

I am mesmerized by the theme song to this new television series. Since the very first time I listened to it, everything else in my world stopped temporarily and a soothing, peaceful feeling emerged.

@@asliy.2699 It's not the live version. It's a reworked studio version. Vocals are the same, but some of the musical elements have been changed. Still great, though.
Exactly the same from the first season, they just removed the drums in the verse part and started it in the chorus.
So intense this intro. When this song ends at beginning of show u r hooked for the rest of show.

in the first scene when jane gets her son ready for school, Did you notice the new setting? She was in a new appartment, now my take in this is that it was the one Celeste choose. So i believe she gave it to Jane. How i remember? The visit in season 1 i remember thinking how small it was compare to their old house and the view guys remind yourself the view. Jane did not have one, her appartment was to cheap not well located compared to the others ( they all had a piece of nature to look at mostly the sea). NOW SHE HAS ONE TOO
