    With the Arteta thing, when Josh Kroenke took over from his father, Unai Emery was the manager. Edu was appointed and when Unai Emery was dismissed, Arteta was appointed.
    So you can see, the new leadership at Arsenal brought in their man and they backed him.
    INEOS didn't bring in Ten Hag so they have no obligations to back him when the results and performance are bad.

    The only reason people still back Ten Hag is because of the false belief that getting a new manager will end up like it has in the past. The definition of insanity argument doesn’t apply because you are getting a DIFFERENT manager. If you follow the logic that means no manager can ever succeed at United. Dude, make an analysis and draw a conclusion then stand on it. The bottom line is we are going to go through periods of mediocrity. What’s important in this process is maintaining stability and consistency in what we are working towards. Fans, need to be patient and don’t focus on the results on the pitch that’s immaterial because we’ll have similar results if Pep was managing that team. Focus on the attributes that Ten Hag has e.g. winning mentality, promoting and developing youth, tactically flexible, working knowledge of the depth of the problems we face etc.

    Basically ETH had been lucky with the form of Rashford and Bruno last season, as well as Casemiro,, Martinez, Shaw, Wan Bissaka and Eriksen all performing very well. It was a largely consistent team. But this season has exposed his difficulty in adapting and in-game management and reading of the situation which is absolutely needed against better managers, in some cases getting obliterated tactically with the only response bringing in McTominay for some hope for a last minute goal.

      I was ten hag out after the 2nd game last season. After he came out and said "the players wont do what they are told to do on the pitch" but then keeps picking the same players over and over. He has no ingame management, has no real style of play. Any real manager would have benched bruno and rashford. Has bought atrociously in the transfer windows and even went as far as to dismantle the one reason he achieved well the season before by fooking up his defense. The list goes on and on. He gets credited with youth development lol. Garnacho couldnt get a game early on and mainoo is only playing because mount has been injured all season. Every eth in fan clutches at any straw to keep him in the job. Biggest reason being we wont get rid of the deadwood if eth goes. Yet eth wants to keep the biggest dead wood in rashford and bruno who dont actually suit his "style" of football (he doesnt see it but every fan can). There isnt going to be a big clear out with or without eth. The main lot thats going will be the players out of contract and maybe if we are lucky some players that never play for us. Another supposed reason to keep him is because the structure of the club will be sorted lol. How? Because of 2 men? Barrada doesnt start till july, wilcox wont be changing much. The coaches need sorting, medical staff,etc then its the players. You really think all that will get done this summer? I doubt the backroom staff will be sorted fully by start of the 2025/2026 season. Next transfer window i expect it will be the same old sh!te. I can go on and on about reasons not to keep eth yet you eth in peeps have only 3 things which can easily be debunked. The structure, injuries, clearing of deadwood/youth development.

      @@gavingreensmith1110 A lot of what you say I agree with especially the part about Bruno not being the type of player to suit the football he wants to play but how can you act as if he doesn't have a particular style when you're admitting Bruno and Rashford doesn't suit it?

    • @gavingreensmith1110
      @gavingreensmith1110 Před 16 dny

      @sheldontoulon8505 because he tried his "style" in the first 2 games of the season and dropped it mate. And yes he does have a "style" now, which is being forced on him by ineos. He has changed it from ole ball to 4-1-5. Even the dmc is being told to join the attack. Whilst its a "style" i dont give it much credence. I have seen better in school yard football. A real "style" would have patterns of play which eth ball doesnt. The only real pattern of play is pulis ball of hitting it long on the counter and hoping for moments football. Every other team in the league, sh!te every league, has patterns of play on and off the ball. The better teams have less mistakes, you cant say that about united though. We have spent 2 years trying to discern patterns of play under eth, and noone is any wiser. Either the coaches are terrible or eth is. Considering no changes in coaches in 2 years besides one then you have to conclude its eth.
