Sports are played here and the favorite ones are surfing skiboard, frescobol, volleyball, soccer, footvolley.
Posto Nove is considered one of the best spots on Rio's beach, frequented by celebrities and young people.
Posto Eight is Rio's largest LGBT stronghold on the beach.
