- In this Star Wars Outlaws gameplay news update video we breakdown the new Star Wars Outlaws customization & DLC details that were recently revealed by Massive Entertainment! Recently, we got the Star Wars Outlaws Official Story Trailer and did a frame by frame breakdown of the brand new story trailer! This Star Wars Outlaws trailer confirmed that Crimson Dawn and Zerek Besh will be in the game! We also learned a ton of new Star Wars Outlaws story, gameplay, and open world details. We learn that Lady Qi’ra from Crimson Dawn will be featured in this game!
Recently, we broke down the announcement of a brand new Ubisoft Forward in June that should give us a great look at new Star Wars Outlaws gameplay details! We also learn that the Star Wars Outlaws release date is August 30th and will feature a standard edition, gold edition, and ultimate edition. There will be a Star Wars Outlaws season pass that will feature story DLC and cosmetic DLC! We have broke down all of the space gameplay as well as the combat and customization details that we know about space for Star Wars Outlaws. We have discussed an interview with Julian Gerighty where he discusses new planet details and new details about the reputation system in Star Wars Outlaws. We also discussed what Outlaws needs to get right when it comes to the open world gameplay and the challenges Star Wars Outlaws faces to become one of the best Star Wars games.
Star Wars Outlaws is the upcoming Ubisoft Star Wars Open World game made by Massive Entertainment. The Star Wars Outlaws release date is currently set for 2024 on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi where players will become Kay Vess, a clever scoundrel in the galactic underworld. The article from Star Wars states that the Star Wars Outlaws story will feature Kay “looking to attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen, all in an effort to start an new life”. Although Star Wars Outlaws is a new & original single player story with exciting new characters, we still got some familiar Star Wars planets & characters in the new trailer. This includes: Han Solo frozen in carbonite, Jabba the Hutt, Crimson Dawn, Pyke Syndicate, Canto Bight, Cantonica (The Last Jedi), Tatooine, & Kijimi (The Rise of Skywalker).
Needless to say we are INCREDIBLY excited for this game and can’t wait for more Star Wars Outlaws gameplay, trailers, story details, and news updates to breakdown and analyze on the channel!

At this point, the game looks amazing but that hair has got to go if there was zero customization and you could only customize the hair, I would be happy with that.
I’m all for having the option to customize it. Always good to have more options. But I’ve never really understood the mass hatred for it. To me it fits in very well with OG Star Wars.

Seriously! I don’t even watch this channel, but it’s so nice finding videos that aren’t just straight up and openly sexist/misogynistic and overall just hateful! @zerooskil7161 fix the face is this really a issue? It's a star wars type face! And price for the pre-order are about the same as anywhere you buy pre-order games! If you don't want any extra stuff or battle pass don't get it it's a regular price tag for the game however just like other games! Anyway just my opinion on all this mumbo-jumbo stuff!
@@tomcabler3084the face isn’t the issue but when you purposely make your character so damn ugly compared to the actor of the actual character it’s clearly done on purpose to make her look more masculine. Tbh the only problem I have with this game is no character customization. They don’t even mention hairstyles, honestly was kind of hoping for character customization, if it had I’d buy in an instant. Plus it’s Ubisoft, they micro transaction everything and they are hated by the community

I hope not all of the customization options aren't call back to other movies/characters, I would ok with a few references/call backs to characters/settings, but have more original looks for her but that's just me...

Another little detail about the Kessel Runner skins pack is that it has the Millennium Falcon cockpit design around the main headlight on the Speeder😉
Also the Rogue Infiltrator pack corresponds to Poe Dameron, as that is his jacket Kay is wearing & also features Poe's black X-Wing color scheme as the Trailblazer livery.
I'm still excited for the game so far, but with Ubisoft being known for removing games from libraries and them about to do it again with another game, I'm cautious. I prefer physical media or digital any day, but still I wonder if they will do the same with this game.

You can customize Nix as well. As for ship I think it will be outside only, with the cutscene they use on the ship they'd have to make multiple ones if you could change ship layout.
Not neccesarily, if the cutscenes are realtime, the interior could be easily changed since it would be loaded already.
So you can change her boots, jacket etc?
@@ConantheTrollarian Star Wars Outlaws will let you customize Kay's outfits and play how you want. Kay's clothing will have gear slots for chest, holster & pants. Each outfit will have gameplay impacts & transmogrification. That is from Ubi so it sounds like it. They don't talk about boots in the gear slots, at the very least I'm sure they will go along with whatever outfit your wearing at the time.

I wonder how the blaster will work are we limited to the blaster in the holster or can we equipped one on the back for longer range and change the one handed bladed to a diffrent one

Maybe she will have an outfit like Zam Wessel from Episode II that has a stealth buff, either way game looks like it is going to do what Starfield could not have proper space travel and a vehicle planetside.
I just hope that the map size is big for us to explore and grind and loot

Im really excited for this game. But Ubisoft really dissappoints me with their business model as always. It's $170 Canadian here for the ultimate edition and in all honesty, paying that much should cover the costs for everything, cosmetic items and season pass included.
You do get the season pass and all the first customization options at launch though the additional skins later on will be extra. But yeah 170 Canadian is pretty bad for cost

@@FlexedNoose The way I look at is normally I buy the standard version of games for $90. $170 is just $10 cheaper then if I were to buy 2 other separate AAA games. That should be more then enough to cover the costs of the game.
Plus Ubisoft has extra microtransactions in at launch. I bought the ultimate edition of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and there was extra microtransactions for skins in the game day 1 and I fully expect that to be the case with Star Wars Outlaws.

I am so tired of people like Star Wars Theory hating on this game because you aren’t playing as a Jedi and you are playing as a female character. As exciting as this game looks, I will most definitely wait for reviews and gameplay once it comes out. If I like it, then I'll wait for a second hand disc. Plus, almost a double price for one extra mission and a few cosmetics is pretty scummy, not gonna lie. I still can't get over that the best costume in Jedi Survivor was a pre-order bonus.

@@LunarSquadron selcet the outfit of which you want to apply the look like the starting outfit and at the bottom should be an option that says apply look. this will make all other outfits look like it.
Apparently they added this in an update last summer and I just… never noticed it

Games like Starfield and Hogwarts Legacy and even The Mass Effect games understand this concept
I love starwars but I don’t think EA should have the rights because they don’t want to allow the players to be immersed in their games like real Triple A games Should strive for.

I disagree guys, I think there's a good chance customizing ship will be more than cosmetics, considering they have a transmogrification for your outfits, think about Survivor all Cal's outfits were is cosmetic they didn't offer any perks, this game does, you essentially give Kay armor and they care enough to give you transmogs so you get the benefits you earn but keep the cosmetics you want

I want hair customization and cooler clothes that match the world with shirts and pants and shorts and dresses and skirts and robes with hoods that pull up. Not so many tomboyish outfits. There are so many cool clothes in the star wars universe.
Overall they stick to custom model of newest Jedi series. It's basic but still rather good.
I actually love Ubisoft monetization and the way they have done assassin’s Creed with that I have never minded buying new skins. I really wish more games would do that especially a Star Wars game.

So basically 0 customisation. In an age where changing appearance and sex ,technology which would allow us to completely alter and upgrade ships like in Starfield, and by big budget studios, they give us microtransaction budget railed shooter.

Hope they make the character customizable. Instead of regular human female, how about customizing the character to another species such as a Duros,Bith, Weequay, Gran, Quarren,,Nikto, Wookie, or a Trandoshan (like Bossk) or a Rodoan (like Greedo). I realky wish Shadows of the Empire would be remade (fix the swoop bike level through Mos Eisley and Beggars Canyon. Heck, bring Dash Rendar or Kyle Katarn into the fold (regardless of cannon or not).

I’m super confused by your Ghost of Tsushima comment. The masks, hats, sword, and bow skins have zero gameplay benefits. So you really don’t have to look like a clown with mismatched items at all.
The armor does have gameplay upgrades, so if you’re picking a particular armor for the gameplay upgrade, you then kinda have to match your helmet and mask to whatever armor you have on, or else it’s mismatched.

i see comments that pisses me off and proves most who talk crap about stars wars beings a money grab and in other video's i have watch praise helldivers 2 for being 40 dollars yeah i found out after spending 40 dollars that i would have to spend 80 more dollars for the basic ps plus just to play solo so i 1 hour after buying it i throwed it in the trash and its funny you're on this channel making comments about cash grabs. i will pay 130 all day long for a game that don't require ps plus before i will pay 1 cent for a game that does require it.
Well, in Canada here it costs $170 for the ultimate edition, more like $190 by the time i pay taxes. For that amount of money I'd expect everything to be unlockable in the game, but that isn't the case. Just feels like a rip off.
How much money do they expect people to pay to unlock the full game?
@fall-neckthetallneck2977 tax and all comes to 137.48 something like that. I paid 127 for wwe2k24 everything was unlocked except for the arenas you had to play showcase mode to unlock them which was stupid to it that way but the game itself was well worth it imo.

@@toddsmith5301 Usually it's just like a $20 difference. I'm fine paying $90 for the base game and $100 for the base game + a couple included skins. The $145 edition I may get assuming that the season pass would come with an expansion or two. Usually Ubisoft markets what there plans are for the season pass dlc, so I guess I'll make my judgement then.
@fall-neckthetallneck2977 yeah I'm going to wait till around August 25th to preorder it but I'm pretty sure it will be the ultimate edition but between now and then if we learn we can unlock skins in game I'll probably go with the gold edition and it really doesn't matter what edition gamers choose I'm sure we're all going to enjoy the open world star wars experience.

People hopped on the hate train when they saw how much engagement those posts were getting so if you wanna really try pointing fingers, the game isnt even out yet and it's weird to penalize the game for something every other company is doing.
