- Hey everybody it's Dak here from TheEdB0ys and today on #osrs we have a full #toa Solo, this time with a 50m budget for gear. The goal of this video is to give you an example of a full Tombs of Amascut solo run without super expensive gear, but a little more than the 10m set up from last time I will be making more Full ToA Solo videos with different gear set ups in the future

If you don't have a bgs you can also use the bp spec at baba's boulders as you always hit max hit on them for some free healing.

You make 150s look breezy af. I end up with very little supplies for last room baba. I think it’s worth mentioning if someone is having issues with a certain room, do that room first, that way you can make sure you get the kill.
I don't think it's great advice to have people do their toughest boss first. It's easier to do the boss when you have salts, or even other supplies that you get in the raid. Mostly the salts make a huge difference though. So I don't suggest doing the boss first if you're struggling with it, I suggest waiting until you get salt no doubt.
The real answer for what to do when struggling, is to lower the invocations until you get better at the fight. It's good for practice to mess with your invocations and lower everything health and defense a little
Sent my first 150s last night, and planked like 4 times, I think I was using the wrong invo's going to try again tonight with the ones you showed here!
There's a lot of preference involved with invocations. A lot of players label some as "free" but then other players will hate the same invocation lol. In other words, it's good to try out different ones no doubt. You might find that you really like one that you've been avoiding.
I am in the same boat. I've done 130 easily, but I've been a touch hung up on 150. 3 150 runs died on final phase at least than 50 hp. You get so much better with each run though, it's only a matter a time till we take the dub

I just started raiding and I’ve waaaay overdone my gear in some spots and ignored other important things, like a spec weapon, and I was running difficult paths first.
Excited to give it another crack.
I'm glad I sold my zamorakian hasta a bit ago for 20mil, now its dropped down to 9m and I might just buy it back for TOA

Usually they’re like “50m budget” yeah I spent 65 mil on this setup but close to 50, and I didn’t calculate supplies, so scales, darts, bolts, runes, brews, restores.
I do my best to make sure the Title/Thumbnail is not misleading! But these vids are fairly old, so prices have been changing as well (and the raid got some updates) so I would like to update these vids when I get a chance
What’s the best paths to kill I do crock beetle warrior monkey but I’m going to start adding more invos I’m thinking if I switch the 2 at the warden fight it may be a little easier
As long as Warrior/Monkey is after you get salts, then you're doing the first 4 rooms in a solid order. I like having the Akkha Phantom for the last Warden, but that's definitely a preference thing, so try it out the other way and see how you like it
Dont put timer if you are learning 150s as youll drop below the rate for items significantly, just learn it on 150 as its same as entry mode
I see you use the bp on the obelisk p1 when charging, i just got a couple kc using hasta, is is better range or melee to obelisk p1?
The obelisk is weak to Magic (+50 def), then Ranged (+60 def), then each melee style is tied at +70
So it's a little weaker to ranged, meaning BP is better more often than not. This does depend on your other gear too. Also, at higher invocation levels it will make a bigger difference to use any NPCs weakness in the raid.
That all being said, I've used a lot of Stab and Range combos on the obelisk, and they all really shred through it tbh. But the BP has treated me the best so far

Just wanna ask I have full elite void melee/range/mage would it be better than rag gear?,
Void is pretty good, but it also depends on your stats. It only becomes really good with 90+ stats.
Even when you have high stats, void is still low defense, and in the long run it tends to be 2nd best, more often than it is BIS. It is convenient for less switches, and it's still solid gear, so it is useable in ToA, but I'd personally move on from void once you have a decent budget to work with
It would help if you explained things more in detail on how to do the puzzle room. Also the boss fights explained, for example: where to stand and how to do this correctly because I failed at it this way and I found this to be better.

You're likely seeing me use my quick prayers, the orb under the my health. I have it set to prot ranged sosometimes I just click those on instead of switching tabs over. Other than that idk what you're seeing, so if could time stamp me an example would help

I was using Amethyst for this. Prolly could squeeze in dragon darts since you don't use a lot per round, but it's rought buying Dragon Darts at only 50m budget
What's the plugin that underlines set items with a specific color?
"Inventroy Tags" on runelite. In the plugin's settings there are a couple options for how you want to tag the item, one of those options is underline
126 combat. 370M gear setup. Full Ancestral, Full Amadyl/ACB, Fang, Kodai.

my biggest struggle atm is babbas puzzle room, not even the boss, wtf. i burn so many supplies there
What add on gives you the combat triangle on the equipment?
I think you're seeing my "inventory tags" which I have set to just underline
What stats would you reccomend accompanying this setup?
If you're below 99 range I'd suggest doing the croc room after you've gained salts, as the dps with a normal potion can be very poor
Although that's with a blowpipe, crossbow with Ruby bolts proves to be quite effective
As far as melee and magic, 90+ I guess
The higher the better is always the answer. If you try it out with this gear, but you don't think you're doing enough damage (or you're taking to much thanks to low defence) then your goal should be to get your stats up. Higher stats will always help.
That being said: 80+ seems bare minimum imo (that's 80 in range, mage, and melee stats, not just 80+ cmb level), but I wouldn't grind a ton of kills until 90+ as that will speed things up

Literally wouldn't worry about mystic or ahrims, occult and a trident with 99 magic + salts hits well over 40s
So if you're below 99 magic it's still gonna be big hits on akkha
Mystic isn't adding any damage, but you're not 100% accurate in here, especially if you're maging in ranged/melee gear. I find no problem with 2 invy spaces being used on mystic here, unless you're running out of potions. But there's still a ton of space for potions in this set up
you must be 99 maigc. im 89 magic and splash on akka past 100 in solo, often. With salts, since upgrading from mystic to Dagon Hai, which has a slight accuracy boost i stopped splashing a bit, id assume if i try higher invo id need more accuracy. Hence ahrims being the best before ancestral with its higher accuracy boost.
@@abyssalnova995 yeah since doing 150s, I can see you'd definitely need some accuracy switches if below 99 magic
would 85 stats be ok to try to solo with?
Yes, definitely. If you find yourself struggling, then higher stats will always help, but at 150 invocation you can make it with 85s no doubt. So practice makes perfect!
Do you think it's possible to do this on mobile?🤔
Definitely! Final phase of warden would get a little more tricky since you gotta be real accurate with your foot work, but it's doable on mobile

At Kephri, yes

imo you could allocate the wealth better on this one, sell fury and sell hasta and get tort and just use abby dag, you'll increase your max hit, abby dag and hasta has the same str bonus, in this gear set-up budget imo would be more beneficial for dps for core, akka, baba etc. and just ammy switch. Unless your using blood fury or just fury, i can understand but u got anguish and occult bro lol. and selling fury and hasta evens out for tort and abby dag if you use addy darts and not amy darts, not needed for 150 imo
id only suggest hasta over abby dag when your done getting your ammy switches , otherwise its a waste of 10m over the dagger for just a +10 accuracy with the same max hit though.
Can I use elite void for this? I hVe no torso and only 30m (just came back to os after being hacked)
@@abcdegh468 sure, but you're better off learning more switches so youre used to it when you get better and can do more high lvl raids, void siwtching is too braindead imo, but it works at 0 invocation. Wouldnt recommend for 150

Why do you have water runes?
For freezes. I use them on the crocodiles & monkey puzzle room when the cursed baboons are painting too much

Why did you fight tumeken warden first? Whats the dif when you fight elidinis at the end
It changes the two phantoms that spawn during the last warden. Early on in my grind, I liked having Akkha and Kephri, since you can predict which attack Akkha is giong to use, but in the long run it's easier to do Zebak/Baba once you've turned on other invocations like 'Feeling Special' and 'Ariel Assault'

Since I still used silk dressings in this one I didn't use it. Also, the goal here was to just run a 150. For higher level raids I do use "On a diet" to get up there, but I don't think it's a good one to use in the example video

Yeah so for someone doing this for the first time this guide is not it, took me 10 minutes to figure out the puzzles because he was just speeding through everything without explanation and killing the boss also wasnt very helpful.

Theres a plugin for toa its called tombs of amascut in runelite just search for tombs and click first plugin pretty sure it make puzzle become 1st grade no cap
