I would also like to add that Mariam either looks like a 13 year, but is seventeen years old, or she is 13 years old, but skipped four grades. This is all based on the facts that she is in high school, presumably the 11th grade (the usual grade for a seventeen year old) as we saw her in the same class as Layla, whom in that moment was called an 11th grader. In the case that she is a prodigy, her parents have very unrealistic standards, when Marium is probably doing better in school than her parents were at her age.
This artstyle is so underrated!
This is one of the few stories that don’t end in a romance. Just a female friendship. It’s a nice change of pace.
