Will the spray paint cause it to eventually flake off? I've been told to never spray paint a concrete statue...

just plain old cheap spray paint from Walmart or dollar general

Why not just powerwash it? I did one and it turned out great.

It looks Horrible no color in it..wrong way to do this!
