This song is awesome, original heart, but, let's be honest kind of looking back. Velvet Underground was looking at an invisible spot on the wall that no one else could see, like a…cat. It's cool to make the Broadcast/Velvet Underground connection, but if we think we are offering some kind of an objective opinion, we are ***holes. I love BC AND VU. (not equally, but differently).

Yeah I was being subjective. And if we are being honest I was drunk as a skunk (why are you so yummy, Beefeater gin?). No matter how Broadcast got there, they got to something true and cool. I didn't want to be one of those people who has to rank bands in front of one another. My favorite '60's band is the Velvet Undergound, but I could never argue they were *greater* than the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, etc. It's all good, baby!
