On why this release has programmed drums :
The drums on this release were programmed because we did not have a drummer when we started recording this EP. Keep in mind that during the first 3 years and half of our existence, we had no drummer. The only way to find one was to put out material that was more convincing and professional sounding than our 2008/2009 demos. We did not program the drums for aesthetic purposes or because it was more convenient or to try to fake it. We always were open and honest about the fact that we used a drum machine in the early days.

good lord, these guys deserve so much more credit than they are given.
They are beginning to recognition it, now that they have 2 full lengths after this. And the 2nd one sold out at their record label in only a few months
This EP fucked my brain up 6-7 yrs ago when we discovered it, it ran on every single party we were back in that time. Booze, windmills and air drums, good times...

This was a self release done by the band themselves abs didn’t get to a record label till there second released! Hope this helps they were unsigned durning this record!

Found these guys way back in the day, like 2010. I Remember trying so hard to write riffs like these guys but fell flat on my face. Glad this album holds up today.

I still remember first hearing this like 4 years ago being like okay.. alright.. well this is way way way better than any other metal i've ever heard. In fact its not even comparable its just plain superior with no competition.
Now there is really only a handful of competing artists at this caliber in my opinion

Bernard Candela I agree. Dominic is not on Dasein either though, just so you know. He has not contributed to anything out yet. One can't really "miss" him ; )
First Fragment you have done amazing music so far, but I think you should incorporate Dominic in the composition process, I believe he has a lot to offer in terms of creativity. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
