Will McCabe will play senior football possibly this year, but more likely 2025. So by 2027 I would expect him to be best 22 or at least getting a regular game
Finn Maginnes has to remain a tagger. He isn't really talented enough with the ball to be anything else.
In the midfield you are correct. However, he could play as a lock down defender on forwards like De Goey or other dangerous mid sized forwards. So still a "stopper" but on a 6 ft 2 forward
@@nicholasjopson7326 Yes, I agree and he is a hard worker and has a massive tank. I just think it is a mistake to think he is going to develop into something more. He has a lot of limitations in his skill set. If he doesn't have a "job" to do he looks a little lost, his kicking and handballing is average at best, he is not great above his head. But if he can keep guys like Daicos to a handful of scrappy touches then he is a very useful player.

You forgot to mention injuries can really shorten a player's career. For hypotheticals, can't fault.
James Blanck has a go but is a C grader, for the hawks to be a legit threat they definitely NEED another big key defender. They know this, which is why they offered Radaguilia (sorry about spelling) a 5.4 million dollar deal and similar offer to MacKay. Surprisingly they delisted Jeka who has the size and strength and was great in vfl second half of season as a key defender.
That's the missing piece - a big A grade key defender
If a few older guys got injured, it wouldn't be a terrible team to start round one this year.
I think Josh Weddle will be at least 50% midfield by then, he is listed at 192 cm and 92kg which puts him at Bontempelli's height and Petracca"s weight. He smashed everybody in the 2k time trial and beep test first day of pre season training and he is yet to turn 20.
With one more key back and another key forward that team should be playing finals.

Pretty good list overall. My changes would be Weddle replacing Amon on the wing (the kids taken out our 2km time trial 2 years straight). Ward fits in the wing but is getting more midfield minutes according to his interviews. Butler could overtake Ginni, unless he finds a new trick.

Pretty good mate ramsden is the one they have major wraps on hope to see the evidence this year. Otherwise it’s a very s9lid team with depth and more players to come in over the next 3 years more established players and less young draftees looks promising for a rise up the ladder.
And trust me Ginni is abt to explode and become a genuine star of the comp

They lack any real star power, unless one of their under 21s can break out... or W. Day/Newcombe improve.

You no nothing about football ! Was selected to play under 19s vfa for Springvale! Like today's seconds vfl! That was elite level in those days! 1 year away from being scouted! Like draft today! I no my footy and you don't! You mentioned Sam Mitchel well he played 3 years in seconds! Did not play a afl game till 21 22 years of age! The growth left is massive! Training is monday Tuesday main session Wednesday break Thursday main session Friday gym ect like monday! So get off your keyboard and get involved in your club or keep opinions to yourself because your not invested in a club to have accurate readings of talent! only what you see on tv the end result of years of hard work nobody sees! 👍
