I'm so happy I bought mine, I found one here in Detroit with 42,xxx miles for a thousand bucks and she rides so smooth!!! It has a few problems but I'm putting it in the shop this weekend!!

how many types of yamaha royal stars are there
I know this is an old post and I have been looking for one either in Royal or in Classic. How much in your estimation does a bike like that with that many miles cost? You must sell quit a few of similar bikes, so was wondering. Also on a bike like that how many miles should I beware of buying? I did see a real nice looking one that appeared to have been well cared for,but it had 40000 K miles so I walked away. I still wonder if I made a mistake. Thanks in advance , Mike
I been told they last over 180,000 without any breakdown. I own one and going strong.
@@cassidy376 I have an opportunity to get a 1997 with exactly 50,000 miles. They are asking $2,500. That many miles does not scare you? I've read great things about the V-4 Yamaha motor but to me that seems like a lot of miles. Your thoughts?
You made a mistake, mine has 42k on it and is as reliable as the sun. I've had zero issues with it and as long as you do the maintenance and don't ride it like you stole it, it'll give you tons of great miles. I've seen three that had over 100k on them and still ran well.
