I wouldn’t mind seeing a full feature film dedicated to this plot line. This choose your own adventure is a good start but this concept in particular really intrigues me

There are alternate universes that explore similar plot lines, but not this one in particular. For example, there is an alternate universe where Joker killed Batman and Damian became Batman in response, and also an alternate universe where Jason properly inherits the cowl and becomes Batman after Bruce, even with the no killing rule, but not because Bruce died, but rather it was highly implied he just retired. So, the answer is no, this comic plot line does not exist in comic book I know to this day.

This a close one. My favorite is actually Troy Baker especially after Arkham Origins, Mark Hamill extremely close behind him. But DiMaggio blew me away in UTRH and this, he's plays the Joker his own way and it works for him and I respect that a lot, out of any voice actor.
This to me explained why Bruce took Jason in after Dick left. He wanted Jason to not end up like the criminals and wanted him to be healed (mentally and emotionally). He wanted a good life (well one that he can give him) for Jason.
