#CatherallAudio #JamesCatherall - Hudba
I bought the m1 mini purely to use logic on, it's been flawless and such a great daw, I came from studio one on PC and will never go back, can't wait for version 11
Me too… Just bought a Mac mini 30 minutes ago. Will also use it for music
The Mac mini is a fantastic machine for Music Production/Composition. I used a 2018 Mac mini for a few years before upgrading to the Mac Studio.
@@DiplomChillaMine has Logic only on there besides pre installed stuff that hardly gets used and it hasn't missed a beat quite literally. Superb little machine and so much power
Same here!
I’ve been living and breathing your videos lately… thanks for everything you do!!!
great video thanks
Thanks!
11. Years. 😱
Insane run!
❤
sir I want ask if we can change wave audio to chords like studio one. convert audio to many chords like if u play chords Amin studio one can change it to all major or minor
Who asked for all this AI stuff? I'm still hoping they fix basic functions like being able to move tracks around in the mixer window. Or having midi chase as a global feature. Fix the things we really need!!
Do you think Logic will finally catch up with Cubase and Ableton and export the midi notes of a track? That would be great.
Ableton is a beast😂✌✌✌💃💃💃
Sounds like ChromaGlow is taking aim at the Decapitator
All I care about is being able to have control surface support for iPad logic 2. Or at least midi transport control
Will they announce a subscription option for the Mac version as well in future? 😢🤔
Nobody knows
It seems totally plausible, but the first numbered update in 11 years would seem like a good time to introduce that if they were planning on it in general. I'm taking the fact that they didn't as a sign that we're probably safe for a few years at least
But where is it?! I'm waiting the whole day already, but only 10.8 is available...
I've been refreshing the App Store all day waiting for it to pop-up! I'll let you guys know as soon as I see it!
It's just been released in the App Store!
Still waiting 😮
When i go to use the stem splitter its just grayed out..any ideas?
Do you have an Intel or an M-Series Mac?
@@CatherallAudio oh boy lol let me guess..if you dont have one of apples own processor’s, you’re out of luck
But sadly the fade down have enough drum setup way and it doesn't have heavy metal bits
Hard to believe that the stem splitter will be better than the one from SpectraLayers
...aaaaaand... where is it???
Its been released in the App Store!
Nice!! I was hoping they add ai to eq, compressor or mastering.
The mastering assistant already uses "AI" to analyze the track and create a custom EQ. Its a pretty great tool if you haven't had a chance to try it out yet!
I’m really gonna test it out and compare it to Ozone. Dunno about time zone, update is not available yet as of 8am est zone.
There is not even should be a question upgrading from heater to m series. They also made Apple computers a lot more affordable.
This means I have to buy a M series Mac 😭
Tim way to get off intel, Intel still king you can multi version of Mac OS not the m series computers
Its annoying because theres no reason the new features can’t be used on intel beside Apple forcing us to M series chips
If you want to make music, you should have an M1pro (at least) anyway. It is incredible what a difference it makes. I can now run complex guitar plugins at insane sample rates that allow to finally use them with no latency. It can process a lot of things without using a lot of energy. My Macbook Pro (16" 2021) can run on battery a whole day even if that includes 6 hours of live music production.
Cubase had the chords track for a decade
3:59 I wonder who they copy that from
I need a new Mac anyway
i hear its got AI mastering, and much updated stock plugins
The mastering assistant is already in Logic. It came with version 10.8. It’s fantastic as a beginner tool if you’re not experienced with mastering on your own!
6:16 M series computer throw away, from a company that say they care about the planet
I first used logic back in 2002 I think and at that point it was born for the PC, it was a cutting edge DAW and had features that Apple inherited when they bought out Avid, anyway the plugs and basic architecture has hardly changed in that time.
I truly hope that they have finally invested some time and money to comprehensively re engineer this program and showcase Apples ingenuity.
Sometimes Apple like other corporate megaliths ignore parts of their user base that are serious creatives.
Fingers crossed
It sucks that a lot of users won't be able to use the new features. I'm bummed out.
Glad that Serato Sample 2.0 is around. Helps not to buy an M series computer. Stem separation? No problem
Improv the logic overall (when the song have more EQ the logic will give you a notification saying overall) and inprove the new mastering plugging and the piano 🎹 roll to pick note
Logic Pro 11 is only for those who cannot write, arrange and perform their own music. For actual composers, it's useless. AI and music is not close to perfected and buying it is a waste of money at any price. I won't be buying it. You can buy better sample libraries than this software supplies.
Worst update ever, how is this “pro” features, it’s for people who can’t make their own music..what a joke Apple, I hope you make a real video calling Apple out on how pathetic this is, there is literally nothing I will use as a producer.
