Maynard was on top of his game as he belted out the "goodbye" in its full range. Man, it was awesome. This is a song about hatred. No one would ever dedicate this to Chris Cornell. This song is about a horrible judgmental liar, a loud accusational finger-pointing liar who does bad things in the name of religion. It's an awesome video and Tool fans appreciate it, but don't lie and say that MJK or Tool would dedicate a hate song to Chris.
I have no pity for anyone who takes their own life, but I seriously doubt Tool would capitalize on something like that. Anyone who 'gives tribute' after a death, especially suicide, does so by bringing attention unto themselves.
