Before the 20 year LRA war led by Joseph Kony, the people of Acholi in northern Uganda would come together and celebrate life. With the war finally ended, many of the norms and cultures that were dormant for so many years need to be rejuvenated. In 2010, with support from USAID/NUTI, the people of Acholi in Lira Palwo, Agago District had their first community celebration in more than 20 years.
