Couldn't agree more. I enjoy interviews with people who are able to express their thoughts articulately. Unfortunately with celebrity interviews that seems to be the case less and less these days. Society in general is the same, you only have to look at the spelling, grammar and thought processes (or lack of them) in many comments on youtube to see that intelligence, expression and respect are sadly diminishing. She is talented, intelligent and beautiful -full stop. Regardless of race or gender.
she is articulate. if we can't say she's articulate, doesn't that mean that the myth is controlling reality? You don't hear artist articulate the thinking behind their work like this very often. So, as far as popular young artist are concerned, she is very very very articulate.. and inspiring. She's like a homegrown emotionally grounded Lauryn Hill.
This may sound backwards to so many people but the way she is dressed is so beautiful that it makes her look sexy. Without letting everything hangout and pushed up she looks fantastic. I always enjoy a lady with class.

It's not just you. I had an African American friend in her late sixties refer to someone black and well-spoken as "trying to sound white". Well, I'm Italian and technically not white, come from immigrants who don't speak perfect English yet I do, and it is something to be proud of.

Just like other races we experience different things that affect how we see other people and the world around us. For example we are not all from the hood, born to a single mother growing up poor and spent time in a gang doing crime. Even though this is what mainstream media tells us others in tv shows, movies and even some books that is only one experience in a vast rainbow of black people.
