    As for your flat front tires, this is a common problem. I have a friend who is co-owner of a Kubota dealership and he said it is common on the front tires of these SCUTs. On my LS MT125, I could not get mine to stay inflated and had one roll off the rim while moving snow. My research confirmed this is a big problem. If you do the math, the little 18X8.5-10 tires are grossly overloaded when you have something heavy in your bucket, even with rear ballast. I found a guy with a Kubota BX on-line who solved his problem by going to an 8-ply BKT R3 skid steer tire that has twice the capacity. I decided to do the same and it has totally solved my problem. No more problems keeping air in the tires and no more squishy tires when I have 1,200lbs in the loader. I think the BKT tires are only made in R4 style, but that is what I run anyway.

    I bought my 1025r about a year ago after watching tons of your videos and Tractor Time With Tim videos. Much to my wife's frustration, I literally look for reasons to get on it and dig, lift, scrape, and generally play. My 1025r is the best "toy" I have spent excessive amounts of money on bar none. I love this thing! Unfortunately my recreational acreage property (with a plethora of projects in waiting--pond build, food plot planting, brush hogging, stump digging, road building...) is about a 3 hour drive from my home so I seldom get to put it through its paces the way I would like. With only 53 hours on it I'm dying to find more uses locally. I should really start a side business with it to make it pay for itself and get more seat time.

    I was so disappointed when I first got my kubota b2601. It was pretty much useless on my hilly property. I put on Bora's 2.5" spacers and I can not express enough how much it changed my tractor. It made the pucker effect go from a constant 100 to a 15. Now if I can only get the local tractor dealer to sell me rimguard without bringing in my tractor, I'd be set.

    Wished I had done a little more research when I bought my 3025 E. The 1025 R is great machine from what I've seen you do with yours and other CZcamsrs have done. I still have about 23 months of warranty on my 4 year old 3025 its got a little over 80 hours on the hour meter. Hydraulics are weak and sometimes the electric PTO has trouble turning on. I always appreciate your honesty on your reviews Courtney. Not saying I'll never buy another John Deere, but I would never buy another E series. JD 1025R TLB. $41k

      What attachments are included with these prices? I bought a 52 HP Kubota tractor with a loader and 4 in 1 bucket for the price of the little Deere tractor. The tractor without the loader had a price of around $32k. I don’t understand how much smaller tractors cost so much unless the price includes a loader, bucket, mower deck and backhoe.

    • @justinwright6611
      @justinwright6611 Před 2 lety

    I'm still fighting the 1025R vs 2025R battle in my head. We just got 3 arcres of farm on Big Island in Hawaii. Its on the wet side and we just need something better than a standard yard mowing tractor. 2.5 of the arcres are mostly open, but not level Hawaiian fields in the rain forest. Meaning lots of grass, that grows really quick... I appreciate these videos because it really made me realize the 1025R and the 2025R are were I should be looking. Since Bora is your sponsor could you do a video of installing the mid mount mower with you 1025R that has the 2” spacers on it. I have not been able to find anyone that has photos of it fitting or not. Lots of info on the 1.5 spacers fitting. Even if the mower deck will not work it would help clarify the problem and maybe someone can come up with a fix or a work around.

    I'm moving soon to a property where I'll need to maintain 12 acres, most of which are wooded. I like the idea of a small tractor for the cost savings, and nimbleness in the woods. I need to do a lot of stump removal. How big a stump can you remove with a subcompact?

    • @kdegraa
      @kdegraa Před 2 lety +1

      I’d either hire or get someone in with an excavator. Identify stumps needing removal and get something like a 5 tonne excavator to get those stumps out. A good operator takes around 5 to 10 minutes to remove a big stump & fill the hole back up.
