Only if you send an image of that size, the calculator software will not mess with it. 134x83*2bpp = 22244 bytes, which leaves 75 bytes for the header of the *.8ca file and 2 bytes for the trailer.

I'm not entirely sure it would be asking you to download... Drivers maybe? I'd say your best bet is uninstalling, and then reinstalling the program. Let me know if you need any help!

Try plugging it in harder than you might think you need to. Also try reinstalling ti connect and try another computer.

if you want to take a picture of text, you can just use a notes app rather than looking at text from a picture.

It depends on the size of the files. My calculator has 3014 kilobytes of archive memory, for example.

I can personally confirm it's safe. If you have any worries, just scan it with Windows Defender or whatever anti-virus is installed on your computer.
It is safe just look up TI connect and download the version for you’re computer
