Regarding the sound you hear with this video - provided you are listening to the video through decent ear-buds or head phones or decent speakers connected to your computer, you should be able to hear a reasonable audio recording based off of the Zoom Q3HD which was one of three cameras used to record this. The other two cameras are the Go Pro Hero 3 Silver edition model. Their audio is nowhere near as good as the Zoom Q3HD, so that is why I went with it for the sound.
As for the sound, all members of Ghost B.C. use in-ear monitors, so there are no wedges on the stage for the Zoom to have picked up some guitar, bass, vocals, keys from. Also, there are no amps/cabinets on stage either, so again, no band mix for the Zoom to have picked up. In situations such as these, where set up and tear down is not something where I am afforded the luxury of time, I have to move quickly. That is why I have so far chosen to go with the Zoom Q3HD for the audio. I am always on the lookout for making improvements, but for now, this is as good as it gets for having a VERY mobile unit to capture video and audio. I have mentioned before that I am always open to any suggestions for how to make the sound better. But for what this is and for how quickly I have to get set up and tear down, this is not that bad. +NWH83 It's not just that, the new guy doesn't keep time on the hi-hat constantly like Askel did. The new guy also tends to simplify the difficult parts. He didn't play on the new album either.Don't get me wrong, he isn't bad, he is tight, and people that don't play drums probably can't tell the difference, but I've been playing 12 years and can. lol
+Brian Taylor I've been playing for 23 years and can definitely tell the HUGE difference between the two, but saying one is better than the other isn't applicable. I do agree with your comments, though.
this ghoul is fucking hilarious i just saw him in the rock in rio interview with the bassist. they're both awesome, the rhythm guitarist is cool as fuck, the lead guitarist is brilliant, and papa is obviously a genius.

this guy is an absolute monster.
Aksel Holmgren = one truely epic drummer indeed. His timing and control are absolutely impeccable. At the same time, he sounds very natural, not mechanical at all and with lots of dynamics (no triggers used, no of the charts compression). Very hard to master!
Anyone who's seen this band live, knows that their drummer is an absolute monster.

Aksel has a unique way of blending drum basics with technical playing. Extremely fantastic drummer.

l love Ghost BC so much, they are definitely my favorite band.
yeah, l always do that,;l learned from an interview that the bc is just done for their label because a million other things are called ghost.
They only have to use BC in America. They joked in another interview that BC stood for Because Copyright.

Such a fantastic drummer, I could watch him play all day. According to the band he is really fucking good at the drums than what we are hearing and seeing. I hope the band let him shine more on the next album.

I really enjoy this simple and restrained way of drumming. And he has such a swing! I miss him and Alpha on Ghost.
this is so fucking pleasant to watch/listen... He hypnotizes me.
Unique and interesting technique. He sits high while the kit is particularly low, something contemporary with old school drumming of the 60s and 70s, which today is regarded as rather uncomfortable.
He also incorporates quite a lot of syncopation in the beats, something also associated with traditional drumming.
We don't know a lot about Aksel, but he sure must've been a fan of Bonham or something. Pretty badass.
i love the simple drum kit, but watching these guys live, the guitarist on stage left (right side here) is always my favorite. hard to be a showman in a robe and mask, but he does it.
This guys technique is great. He plays way under his abilities here.
Dave Grohl is not the drummer of Ghost, He invited ghost to come to his studio in LA and record some covers. He (Dave) played drums and also produced the tracks on the If You Have Ghost EP, which includes: I'm A Marionette, If you have ghosts, Crucified, Waiting for the night.
I'm not 100% that he played drums on all of the tracks, atleast on I'm a Marionette.
He also played drums on their cover of Waiting for the Night, and Rhythm Guitar on If You Have Ghosts
He played at one of their live shows early on. There’s a video somewhere of it

Very neat and tidy drumming, it's easy to appreciate such tight drumming when you experience it live. Solid act, I'd recommend anyone to go see 'em in concert at least once.
