I like these type of zone corners that can really shutdown a field without having to be connected to only one receiver. For that, I liked Hayward, they make plays outside the design. haywards PD during week 2 against Pittsburgh was one of those “damn” plays
Jack Jones is going to have an incredible career. He is a high risk style player. He will get beat at times and his success or failure will depend on the safety covering for him when he does mis read or miss the ball he is trying to hawk. He couldn’t shine when he was playing for pats because he wasn’t given free rein.
Gardner minshew and Aidan O'Connell might not be the next dynasty quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders. However, they are are only two quarterbacks that will play this year. So let's get behind them and hope for the best

He’s the biggest bust PFF has ever had When they compared him to Aaron Donald and then i saw him play his first two seasons I knew PFF was trash And it’s no surprise All they are, are a bunch of random guys (maybe two-three per game tops) that watch tape and debate random grades for each play Tbh, do any of us know how they assess the quality control of that already-shaky process??🤨
About Brady/ Adams: Notice how Adams pointed out he would need top level protection because he will live in the pocket. That was a huge part of Brady’s success. Obviously he would require it more because of age + tackles= injury. But people need to remember we have Aiden because Mcadaniels sees the potential in him to be a mini Brady. He needs to spend most his time in the pocket to do so, and for that WE NEED A TOP FIVE O-LINE. Not one of the five linemen rated as top five (Miller) but the entire line needs to excel.
My son was on a 7 on 7 team . In highschool they played Jack Jones (long beach poly) he was playing WR at the time. My son got an INT against him. My son came over after and said dad!! That guy's gonna be a superstar!😂 He was right 😂 and my son works at Fed ex now ❤
Saying AOC is not the quickest is an understatement. He’s probably the least mobile QB in the league. Can a QB improve their mobility? I don’t recall seeing that specific improvement in other QB’s.
Probably not improve his mobility as that is what it is BUT he can improve his pocket awareness meaning stepping up in the pocket to avoid the rush. He's not very good at picking up the rush. He has to get better and not just stand back there like a statue. Move around some to buy time. Hopefully he can improve on that aspect.
So the Real Qb situation is McDaniels thought Brady would be our Qb and Traded Carr that fell through and we had to settle for Jimmy G , so McDaniels never saw a great qb in Aiden it was just supposed to be back up or practice squad.
If minshew had micheal pittman cooking, im more than confident he can make some connections with our WR room. Our WR depth is way better than the colts. And michael pittman is a baller. We could easily get 9 wins with Minshew and our recieving core and strong defense. We being slept on hard

Personally, I don’t believe Tom Brady coming to the Raiders and playing again is even a 1% chance. Tom is still currently the goat but at this age I don’t agree that he’d still be at the elite level he never was. Firstly, statistics show that he’d have a higher probability of getting injured due to his age and that’d ultimately disallow him to even prove whether he can still ball at the elite level. Secondly, I don’t think Tom at this current age can out perform the top 10 QBs. You are right about Aiden modeling his game after Tom but regardless the thing DA said would make any QB question whether their star WR strongly believes in them. Luckily, Aiden seems mentally resilient and although he may hear what DA said I have confidence he won’t show any sign of negative feelings if he did in fact feel or have any. All in all, I want our raiders to make us proud and I really want Aiden to succeed and DA to act like a pro and conduct himself with some discretion.

The guy hasn't even put a whole season of great pay together since he joined the league. 7 game for us and before that he came from a Patriots team that was trash and yet still wasnt even their best guy. So how could you be asking for anything at this point.... If he comes through and continues to play the way he did his 7 games but does it for the entire next season and at that point still doesn't get recognized then maybe you have an argument, but before that I think it's a bit premature.

Wrong the reason Derek Carr was traded is because McDaniels thought Brady would come back and Qb for the Raiders, so we never trusted Aiden.
This situation is basically the same as jimmy G. We have the supporting cast to win, but we just cannot rely on the QB to do it.
