Nige, Very nicely preserved vehicles and most enjoyable to watch. Regards, John
Thanks John, a nice variety and great to see running, regards nige 👍
Brilliant video matey brought back many happy memories of travelling the old A6. What made me laugh was the Mini making more noise than the Leyland Clydesdale.
Many thanks Tom, glad you enjoyed watching and that it brought back happy memories for you, yes it was certainly making itself heard, cheers 👍
Very nice, LIKE !

Looks like the classic vehicles are once again taking over the road again
Thanks Scott, certainly great to see, cheers 👍
Some fine old classic vehicles there Nige. I remember watching a great series of videos on CZcams about the A6 over Shap many shots of the Jungle Cafe
Thanks Austin, alway nice to see the old classic vehicles, it was a hard journey before the motorway was built with the Jungle Cafe a staging post, cheers 👍
Nice coverage Nige with a good selection of old and not so old ,thanks for sharing Brian
Thanks Brian, always a great sight to see, cheers nige 👍
So you have found a new hobby Nige, some nice vehicles in there and great to see such a great turn out and it stayed dry, there is an even older road snaking up along the A6 too mainly classed as a a green lane, cheers Steve . 👍🙂
Thanks Steve, always had an interest in the old wagons, yes a good turnout for the anniversary run, cheers👍
Thanks for a wonderful video of yesteryear memories of the old famous Jungle Cafe .
Thanks Rita, my pleasure and glad you enjoyed watching, cheers 👍
Nice one. Good to see the oldies. The old clock that used to be at the summit is now at Kendal somewhere.
Thanks David, haulage has certainly changed a lot over the years, the Leyland Clock is now situated at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, it wasn’t at the summit David it used to be just up the road from where I was by the corner where you drop into the dip before climbing to the summit and mark the halfway point between John O’Groats and Lands End, cheers 👍
@@nige7577 Thanks for that.
👍
More vintage HGVs! 😀
And not quite so heavy, but the BT Maestro van at1:25is very nostalgic too. Actually the Land Rover going the other way would fit right in as well
Thanks Andrei, a nice variety indeed and the BT Maestro was a very common sight back in the day, yes well spotted there, cheers 👍
Love the blue articulated tanker who I seen on Saturday heading North on the M6 as I passed by on the WCML with 4S44 in heavy rain! Big fan of Maestro's and Leyland Clydesdale's!
Thanks Lynden, yes that one is a beauty and would stand out on the M6 even in the rain, there was a nice variety of vehicles as well, chy👍
Some nice stuff there!
