Mediocrity in Ghana is so commonplace that people think you're being "too know" when striving for better. One thing I can say about some Ghanaians is that they can be complacent and they complain. When you speak the truth, they don't like it. It can be very frustrating.

I came from the other video talking about white men in Ghana. 1. Im so happy you are exposong this. It shows you care. I wasnt in Ghana, but in east Africa and i noticed alot of creeoy old whote guys there dating younger black women. I used to do this when i was younger and desoerate for the things of the world (now i have God), so i see why they are doing it, but these women need to be careful. 2. These men are often set in place only for sex. 3. They are sometimes set in place for cotizenship. 4. And that leads to colonization. Its not worth it. Just turn to God
It’s disturbing, and the sad thing is that there is not enough content out there about this topic. I’ve spoken to quite a few victims as well, and honestly, they’re hardly going to the police or reporting these cases officially. They’re just covering it up. Some parents get to know and don’t want to report it because they don’t want to bite the hands that feed them. It’s very sad, and extremely disturbing.

I think a lot of people are noticing a trend on the internet when it comes to africa all you hear is complaining especially about Ghana. There is always a video coming out every month about the complaints of Ghana. What we tend to see is individuals going to Ghana and not being able to successfully stay within the country for various reasons. Yet we see other nationals who are not of african descent who are able too. The other nationals in Africa are not just coming as individuals they come as a family , they come as a group as a collective, they come with a solid plan, they work together, they have their own business, their own schools, their own house of worship, they make sure they stick together, they know life is not easy but if they rely on eachother they will succeed, that's how the Lebanese, the indians, the whites and the Chinese are able to stay and thrive in Africa. But the individual African diasporas, especially those who rely on CZcams content can't work together as a collective. Serious business people don't have time for content creating they are about business and networking etc. When these diasporas are in Europe or America they don't work together where they own their businesses and have their own African town like Chinatown or how the indians have their areas of business and socials. If they do then why can't they replicate it back in Africa like the other nationals. So obviously they go to Africa with that same individual mindset you will definitely face problems. Africa is not like Europe, it's considered third world countries by the media. So you're going to face problems and these issues are not going to be resolved overnight not even 5 years from now. Your problem is you refuse to work as a group of diasporas when in Africa that's your problem, because you all claim you want ethical business practices then you are all in an agreement so why don't you do it, work with and by each other like the other nationals. Lastly when we the diasporas leave africa to go back to the countries we came from, we never get to see them doing complaining videos of America or European countries like the UK. When we all know there are many things to complain about in those countries too. Yet they never do it, they only reserve their complaints for African countries smh . A side note, even when some Chinese in Africa are doing illegal business and they get caught, what you will notice through observation, they are still working together as a collective no matter if it's illegal with a few crooked Africans. But most of us diasporas won't work together the legal way. All.we are known for is to come on the internet and expose ourselves to the world of many races, nationals that all we can do is complain, and not complain whilst getting the job done by solving our problems, we can't solve our own problems as adults. We are making the world see us as incapable of solving our own problems. The world we live in presently is ruthless very few people will care about your complaints, it takes the bold the brave and the courageous to make positive changes when faced with resistance and if you want it done faster you work together you want it done slowly you do it all by yourself.
Im actually british born Ghanaian, I already had successful businesses before I went to Ghana, I also build communities and connected with many diasporans. I’m not sitting on the internet complaining, I’m actually addressing very serious issues that need to be addressed. I still have businesses in Ghana, and I’m still providing support for vulnerable women out there. I couldn’t live there for several reasons, and I have a right to make that decision. I had a video on here that I chose to remove but I outline a severe assault that happened to me in Ghana and the police laughed at me and tried to extort money from me instead of going to arrest the man. I never expected Ghana to be like England because I’ve been there over the years several times, my parents were born and raised there. Ghana just wasn’t for me in terms of living long term although I still have businesses there and go back and forth. I have several connections and small communities that I’ve built there, I just think it’s important not to sugar cost anything. I speak the truth, good or bad. If people have questions about Ghana, I speak the truth, I never lie about my experiences there. I don’t hate Ghana and still have connections there, I’m just very hyper aware of the things I can put up with. I didn’t run into financial problems in Ghana, I literally already had a business that was thriving and went with pounds and dollars income. So that wasn’t an issue for me at all. I also didn’t expect to live like I was living in Europe. I went local shopping and grew my own food. I am not here to prove anything to anyone, I’m speaking my truth, and I have a right to do so. Living in Ghana is not by force, and even those that run successful businesses there, they leave for months and come back. Even the Indians and Chinese, they leave and come back. I’ve been travelling around since I finished college, worked online for years. I don’t plant myself in one place, i travel and experience different cultures. Right now my goal is to build a women’s shelter in Ghana. People keep coming here and not bothering to listen to everything I’m saying, they just jump in and comment. I didn’t just go to Ghana with no idea what I was doing. I am a British born Ghanaian, I knew exactly what to expect. I lived there for six years and that was enough for me.

Sorry to hear the assault that happened to you, yes these things do happen, it happens in every country around the world, so I'm not surprised. Ghanaians have experienced what you have experienced too. I am from the UK too, and have been to Ghana and know what is happening, the issue with people is Ghana is not a utopia it has it issue like every other country, look at the UK which we both live in we all know the issue in this country but I won't go up on internet that's me others may do differently. My question is when they come back to the USA or the UK why don't they complain about the issue in the country they are living in. It seems that the complaints are only reserved for African countries as if people aren't complaining about the cost of living and the crime rate happening over here, along with the power cuts and yes in my area we have been facing power cuts. It maybe not be as frequent for a so-called first world developed country but it happens. Look.at the many people sleeping on the streets and the beggars. All I'm saying is that every country has its issues and even more so for developing countries. I can remember going to Ghana when the only form.of transport was the trotro or the taxi and you will have to argue every time because they see you as an obroni. The development that Ghana has done is commendable even though there is a lot more that needs to be done. The police issue is an issue like in many countries even in the UK but we are still here right. So again I Definitely understand your issue of being assaulted. The Indians and Chinese may leave and come back but they don't go up on the internet and complain I have yet to see them do that. Also My comments was generally talking about my observation seeing how content creators making videos on African countries which the whole world knows and calls Africa the continent a third world. A continent of wars, famine, poor economy, diseases, tribal tension etc The media has always shown Africa to be a continent of problems so anyone who is thinking Africa is some utopia is misleading themselves. So if they know Africa has been beset with some of these issues why are they surprised, when I go to any country I don't complain, I may get frustrated some times but I use that energy of solving my situation, because I know there are children that are having it much worse yet they have to deal with it., I just try to figure things out if it's not suitable for me I leave and find somewhere that is suitable or tolerable because there are always going to be issues.
@@knowledgeseeker6955 I actually made a video about why I don’t live in the uk. For me, my focus is safety, uk wasn’t it, Ghana also wasn’t it for me. I’m happy where I am for now, but as for me, I’m a global citizen, I work online and travel whenever I want. I will go back to Ghana on vacation and for other reasons but not to live. No country is perfect, everyone should just find what works best for them.

If I’m honest I didn’t plan to focus on Ghana on this page and wasn’t thinking of it because I already have a main channel that focuses on making money online as a writer or blogger, that’s actually my field. But I’m now considering what you’re saying because people keep asking me. I already create ebooks as well so it might be a good thing to add as well. I will definitely get it done. @@abenatalksafrica Well, we are actually in the same boat. My initial research project was going to be on some aspects of Nigeria for the novel and the academic research, but "Ghana" literally jumped in my head for some reason.
I can't tell you how or why or for what reason. From then on, that's been my research and writing plans.
Therefore, keep working on this.

If you live in Europe, in the US or any other developed country and then you go to Ghana expecting to see Europe or US in Ghana, then you will be disappointed. Ghana is a developing country and you don't expect to see the luxury that you are used to in the West. Am a Ghanaian myself living in Europe, but anytime I go to Ghana, I go with medications, sacks of water and some basic items that I know may be in shortage in Ghana. No one change Ghana for us except we Ghanaians ourselves. It's not enough sitting on the social media and making noise, let's all be part of the demonstrations going on and we can effect positive changes that we want.
Im not sitting on social media and making noise, I’ve actually done so much to help people in Ghana, I’m currently in the process of building a women’s shelter there through my company one million black owned brands, I’ve mentioned it several times. I didn’t expect to go to Ghana with expectations of it being like Europe. But the government must at least offer the basics such as clean water and electricity for everyone. Also proper support for vulnerable people, which is appalling in Ghana. I’m British born Ghanaian and I’ve been there many many times, lived there for six years as well. Decided to leave for my own reasons, I’m doing what I can, but I can’t do everything. Actually raising awareness on social media is a good thing because it actually encourages people to stand up and take action. If I can push one person do something to impact Ghana or any other African country in a positive way, then I’ve done my job. Im even right now providing jobs for young women and men in Ghana. I have 45 young women and men working from home online earning more than some professionals in Ghana are earning. I’m doing my part to make a change. I’m not one to demonstrate on the streets, often that doesn’t even work, the police and army come and stop it and everyone just goes back to their lives. Need long standing solutions, and I’m very much doing my part. Thank you
Ghana is inching towards 70 years, and we still don't have the basic needs on the hierarchy of needs (Maslow's) It's not about expecting to see the 'luxury' in the West, there are some 'problems' that we should not be having at this 'age'..

Where are you living now ..I'm a brit lived in the middleeast for 16 years and 2 in the states. Dubai only for 1 year however found it to busy definitely prefer the smaller gulf countries. How did u find Dubai?
I’m in Dubai now for work purposes. I travel around the world as I have several online businesses and offline businesses in the UK, USA, Africa, and now the Middle East. I consider myself a global citizen to be honest.

My UK born Ghanaian partner travels to Ghana for business all the time, but does not want us to live there. It’s stressful enough just trying to conduct business over there.
I understand, living there is not easy at all. It’s not impossible, but you really have to grit your teeth and find the good in every situation. It’s tough! I couldn’t live there, that’s my preference, but some people love it and wouldn’t choose anywhere else over Ghana. The thing is, most people don’t like to speak the hard truth, they want to sugarcoat everything and get angry when people speak up. No country is perfect, we all have to choose our “hard.” Thanks for commenting
If you are a Ghanaian, you have the right to organize protests to begin to make changes. Why not do that? IF you're really concerned. Complaining online about your country is not the way.
I'm not complaining, I'm raising awareness. I've done so much, and to be honest, I don't want to talk about everything i've done for Ghana on the Internet. I've done a whole lot. I'm born and raised in the UK, and protests don't work in Ghana, they just get shut down and nothing gets done. It's not Europe, protests don't work in Ghana.

Just be mindful of fake “helpers” be friendly, but not too friendly. When you’re too friendly out there, they don’t respect you. Greet, be cool, but don’t throw your money around. If you wana save money, eat local, buy local. The malls and grocery stores are super overrated. Have you booked your hotel already?

No, I’m a British born Ghanaian, I’ve been there many times as a child and lived there for six years. I still have property there, businesses and I’m building a women’s shelter. Definitely not too posh. I just couldn’t live in a country where being assaulted is seen as a laughing matter by the police. I took that video down but I made a long video explaining one of the main reasons I left Ghana. Nothing to do with me being too “posh”
