Please watch other countries sing their anthems, given their blemished histories and challenged present circumstances: Germany, Brazil, France, Columbia, Netherlands, Portugal, Jamaica, China, England, South Africa. We all have our respective crosses to bear. That said, these teams all sing their hearts out and many cry with joy to participate at this prestigious event. Yet, one country stands out (ouch) !!! Our US players representing our country showcase our spoiled self-indulgent, narcissist, immature egotism. I am taking a knee for those team members that remain unmoved by this privileged event. Nothing to sing for + less to play + got no soul = early exit. So be it.
They need to start getting rid of players because if they're not able to have enough pride to sing our national anthem let alone put a hand over their hearts, then they are also capable of causing our team to lose since I doubt they would do their best to win for a country they do not wish to represent.
They need to start sending them back to where their ancestors came from, for a few months, and also give them a real history lesson about their ancestors too. Black people now, have a 100% benefit from what occurred in the past, if they don't like it, well, there are options.. :)

Because Spain's anthem has no words. They band the words which were representative of FACIST ERA. Hence nobody sang. US Anthem representative of their fight for Independence was conveniently boycotted by those girls. They should never represent again.

This Team must be rebuilt. The world need this Team. The new Coach must flush out most of these lady’s and I hope the fans and management give the new Team “TIME” to grow.

I feel the same way, already a two-time defending champion and trying for a three-peat, not going to happen this time, I was rooting for first Netherlands then Portugal to beat them and eliminate them after the group stage game, they almost lost the last group game against Portugal just lucky that the shot by Portugal hit the post instead of went in in the second half of the stoppage time, if that went in USA is out, but I am glad that they lost to Sweden in the round of 16 on penalties, I was cheering for Sweden to prevent them from winning and hoping that it is their worst finish ever in the World Cup.
GUYS, It's very hard to sing USA anthem for normal people. That's why they can't sing the anthem not to be repectful for USA. 😆😆 Look at them in the final stage, the players are making clap.
