Love the tutorial!! I was contemplating on ordering a toon skull afraid i was gonna mess it up but it looks super easy! Would love to see a tutorial on how to hinge a toon skull 💀
Aa! The momentI found out about these I started freaking out in my friends Discord DMs :)!! I can afford them, and they match the stile I draw my character in almost perfectly!! Tysm for making this, I hope I can buy it soon!
Hey guys! Just to let ya know, your doing some great work over there in DVC. Love all the products! Also I might be purchasing your Toony resin k9 base, or the other skulldog base!
Yes I want Manokit tutorials as well!I've had a base for a while and I'm too afraid to put fur on it cause I don't know if I did everything on the base right
So when you cut the head, do you get super close to the flex foam shell? i've always been curious about that......and ive used the toony canine heads before on commissions but never FULLY understood how close i should be carving lol
you can carve right up to the outer skin and sometimes thinner still. the rotocasting and expansion of this material can cause some thicker areas so don't be afraid to take more out if you need too. ~Monoyasha
Love the tutorials! I was just wondering will you be doing a hinging and furring tutorial? Just thought I'd ask aha! Because I'm debating g between the toony and resin(I think it is) ones
I’m getting one and I have a question? So elastic in the back right, and he has mar, images under his eyes and I’m not furring the actual thing, should I glue fur on or is there a paint I can use. And if so how long until it chips.
there will be a tutorial video at some point just haven't recorded yet. i do have a friend with a foam head tutorial you can use for now and is my main source of reference: www.citymuttfursuits.com/base-tutorial
I purchased a foam manokit head late September and i checked the website and it said that the oldest packages that got shipped out are from 9/7 i haven't received any tracking info yet.. could you please inform me about how i could get tracking info?

The Foam Skulls are always available in the webstore for purchase.
Just ordered the resin version, super excited! Will you guys be making a tutorial on how to cut out these guys?
We will!
Hello I love the tutorials and I’m planning on getting a manokit head so could you maybe post a manokit head tutorial please and thank you ^w^
Yes I want Manokit tutorials as well!I've had a base for a while and I'm too afraid to put fur on it cause I don't know if I did everything on the base right
The manokit is the same as the other toony head carving tutorial.
What type of flex foam do you use?
How to you cut the uncut resin ones?
is this meant to be covered in a minky or fleece fabric?
replying to figure out what material we use with these!
I am also wondering that!
you can do either or spandex. another option is sealing the foam with Plastidip or Flexbond after painting. Lots of options for this base. ~Monoyasha

Same! Pretty curious to see if these can be hinged despite being foam
@@hostile.hybrid ive seen someone do elastic and it worked very well!
@@krismuttz I'll definitely keep it in mind!
I will be making a hinging and lining tutorial but not a fur finish as the current skull resin head goes over that process already. ~Monoyasha
@@DreamVisionCreationsTutorials alr tysm for the reply!

you can use fur, fleece, spandex, plush fabric or paint. I recommend for painting to use Plasti dip or Flexbond
Could you do a tutorial on how to make the jaw move since you said the jaw was supposed to come off? Im about to buy one and id like the jaw to move
www.citymuttfursuits.com/base-tutorial
How would I attach the lower jaw to the head so it has a moving mouth.?
I will be making a tutorial on how to hinge these heads. you can use elastic to create a moving jaw or use wire to make a hinge.
Hi, I am thinking of getting one of these, but do you have a tutorial on how to hinge the toony skull? I can’t find any tutorials
there will be a tutorial video at some point just haven't recorded yet.
i do have a friend with a foam head tutorial you can use for now and is my main source of reference: www.citymuttfursuits.com/base-tutorial
when will you guys be doing a hinging tutorial?
eventually yes.
Do you think you will ever sell pre-cut ones? I don't trust myself to cut that nicely hahah
here and there. the one i am using for this tutorial will be posted in the store for sale once im done. ~Monoyasha
Do I have to cut out the mouth or can I just leave it closed?
you can leave it closed just make sure to cut out the nose hole so you can breath. ~Monoyasha
How long does it take to ship the foam base?
4-6 weeks to complete and shipping depends on location.
I purchased a foam manokit head late September and i checked the website and it said that the oldest packages that got shipped out are from 9/7 i haven't received any tracking info yet.. could you please inform me about how i could get tracking info?
Contact Ciara at Questions@dreamvisioncreations.com
Do you paint it just like a normal skull?
we recommend using a flexible paint medium like mod podge with acrylic for painting or plastic dip spray.
@@DreamVisionCreationsTutorials thank you :))
i know you secure it back with hinges, but how? Where is placement and stuff.
no hinges on foam heads
I have question is hard or foam and soft
our foam heads had a stiffer outer layer with a soft inner core as described on our website~Monoyasha
When will the other "skulldogs" be available again?
we post 18 skulls in the webstore every Monday
