The BIGGEST Month for VR in AGES! // NEW Quest 2, PCVR & PSVR2 games OCTOBER 2023

- October 2023 is packed wall to wall with HUGE new VR games like Ghostbusters Rise of the Ghostlord, 7th Guest, The Foglands, Madison VR, Vertigo 2 and of course the brand new QUEST 3 headset releasing on the 10th... with over 20 new games coming out this month October is easily the best month for VR games and updates in a long time, peak season is finally here and we're going to be eating good for the next 3-4 months. My personal top pick for this month is probably 7th Guest, there's a lot of great new VR content launching in October but 7th Guest is the one that has me most excited, with its blend of gorgeous visuals, devious puzzles and horror themes it could be the perfect Halloween game for spooky season... As always these aren't the ONLY new VR games we're likely to see this month, these are just the games that have confirmed release dates so keep your eyes peeled for some last minute surprises, new VR games like to drop out of nowhere with little to no marketing. The Quest 3 launch day will also likely bring a slew of upgraded games with better visuals and new features so stay tuned for more about those. For now though lets take a look at all the new PSVR 2, Quest 2 and PC VR games launching in October 2023...

Thankyou Mr B, I recently lost My Wife and your channel has kept my mind occupied, I've been following you for a few years since I got myself and my Wife a quest 2.. Thankyou, stay well
I’m so sorry for your loss!
I'm so sorry to hear that man. Stay strong brother, much love and strength to you ❤️
Condolences buddy 🙏
You are among friends here.
In a similar position lost my wife eight years ago. Gaming and vr in particular helps fill the void. The sheer escapism taking you other places and times is great salve on the heartbreak of losing your life partner. Stay strong!
Dam super sorry to hear that man. Ill pray for you right now. Glad your keeping yourself busy i couldn't imagine what your going thru.
Have pre-ordered my Quest 3. Am very excited. Wont be getting it on the 10th though😢
Estimated delivery is the 13th😢
A perk of living in Australia i guess.
Ive seen a few reviews now but i must admit that seeing the Beardo's reaction was what made me pull the trigger.
Back in the days when I had a Dreamcast, I had Samba de Amigo with the mat and the maracas controlers. It was one of my favorite game on the system along with House of the dead 2 and everybody just enjoyed it everytime they came by.
There is a pcvr mod for Hotd 2, where you can play it through the Quest on a big screen using the oculus Controllers as lightguns. So much fun 😍
Psvr2 releasing sll these games around the Q3 release definitely is not a mistake haha
Yes, I've preordered , Ihad considered waiting to see the general reaction and reviews to the Q3 but I've been looking at the specs and its such an obvious step up from the Q2 I've decided to go for it. I really hope its as big a success for meta as the Q2 was, that will guarantee better hardware and software for the future .
Same here, the general feedback is that it was a bigger upgrade than people thought. I just can't wait to get my hands on it lol
I think it's success is in the lap of the software developers now.
I hope it gets the support it deserves.
I'm particularly hoping for an enhanced "Peeky Blinders" update.
And if the xbox cloud gaming will let me play "Elite Dangerous" I will be a very happy camper indeed😁
@@buckrodgers2303 holy shit! Allowing vr game modes on gamepass! I never even thought about that🤯
It's not a big step up. It's a small incremental upgrade that is literally just a quest 2 but with upgrades warranted by the 500$ it costs.
don't expect it to be a psvr1 to psvr2 jump or psvr2 quality. It's not even close.
2x the Power is nothing given that it has a higher resolution.
It's just gonna be a quest 2 with higher resolution and sometimes slightly better graphics. Oh and the better fov is a plus.
It's a must compared to quest2, which is pretty goddamn bad and more of a toy for kids. But for 500$...? Nah. It would be fine if it was 300 to 350, as it's a quest 2 upgrade after years. But no, they are pricing it as if it's quest 2 pro coming out at the same time as the Quest. And Right after they INCREASED THE PRICE OF THE QUEST 2 TO TRICK PEOPLE INTO THINKING THE QUEST 3 PRICE IS GOOD?
Ive never seen something OLD getting a price increase right as the next iteration is coming out.
Borderline a scam.
Imagine if the PS5 suddenly becomes 600$ in 2024 when the ps5pro comes out for 700$, so the pro looks like a good deal since it's only 100$ more.
People would go nuts.
But quest people are fanboys and children so they don't care.
The Quest 2 should be around 200 to 250$ and quest 3 should be 350 to 400$ max.
It's going to be a hit. I bought one, you bought one...everyone I play with online freqeuntly is buying one. And the bigger news is MR/AR because I have tons of friends I've shown VR to, they love it but they get sick and I think AR is going to change the game entirely for people with motion sickness giving them full immersive experiences to cut their teeth on before going to VR only games. It's going to be Epic, I think this is the turning point.
First time in a very long time that I haven't had to convince myself to be interested in some games. I love puzzles narratives and space dramas so this month looks awesome for me!
Foglands and Vertigo 2 are probably my games of the month for October, but hot damn there is an abundance to choose from. I'll be busy till well past the end of the year at this rate.
PCVR long termer here..... 7th Guest VR is giving me MASSIVE Phantasmagoria vibes. That 6(?) CD game set from the 90s holds many great horror vibes for me. Can't wait.
Im always coming to you and this format to see what VR games have gone completely under my radar and once again Im happy to see some of that. Journey to Foundation sounds really promising with those player choices, I wonder if it would go as far as an Arcane Studios Game (Dishonored), I would be very interested in something like that!
Also I think it's worth underlining that Out of Scale apparently is connected and based on Kurzgesagt youtube channel (trailer screams at you with it lol). As strange and clunky it might look, the Kurzgesagt channel is well worth recommending, against first impression it's not really kids educational platform, more like discussing and deconstructing some of the most troubling and complex science problems and trying to introduce them to wider public through dumbed down explanation and absolutely marvelous animations
I'll get 7th Guest and Foundation... maybe Bad Dreams. But will wait for gameplay footage of Ghostbusters and Madison.
2:15 Dude! you can throw your axe like a boomerang? that’s awesome 🪃
Really enjoyed Red Matter 2 and those visuals and textures were such a treat for a new player to VR. Sticking with PSVR2. The metaverse avatars Lex Fridman/ Zuckerberg podcast was technically impressive. Not sure if I would use as it’s hard to get people to do FaceTime calls let alone avatar chats. Some will like AR/MR but I love VR for the immersion… RE Village in MY AR room wouldn’t be scary the same as in a Dark headset. Will see
I have both psvr 2 and meta2.. The meta is such a nicer VR experience they really dont even compare. Not everything is about graphics..
Great video as always, obviously GenoType is going to be my number one focus this coming month (you knew that already), but Journey to Foundation has really piqued my interest, so thanks for bringing that to my attention xx
Even though I have the Q Pro, I ordered the Q3. Can’t wait to try it out. Unfortunately/Fortunately I’ll be in the UK when it’s delivered! I beta tested Genotype and I can’t wait to purchase the game! It had beautiful graphics and the game was a lot of fun! Thanks Ben! I appreciate all your hard work!
Yeah for sure! I preordered the quest 3 as soon as it was possible. So hyped to get it soon!
Can't wait for Foglands. But isn't Propagation paradise hotel also coming to psvr2 in October?
I'm loving VR at the moment, just started playing and creating Ghosts of Tabor content, flipping love how immersive VR is now, I'll never go back to that cold flat screen lol
I wanted to say a BIG thankyou for all your kind and warm comments, I'm getting there and with such kind people still in this world we will ALL get along....Keep up the good work Mr B
Hi guys, planning on upgrading my og oculus rift, looking at getting the meta quest 3. Can anyone tell me if they have managed to reduce lens fogging on the newer versions. I played a bit of hl:a today for the first time in ages and Id forgotten how bad it was!
my headset came in literally while i was watching the video, cant wait to try it especially since i have years of experience with the quest 2 that unfortunately broke lol
I hope to get a Q3 for Xmas. Maybe in black friday sales *if* there is a deal (seems unlikely so close to launch but we'll see). I'm not in a terrible hurry as most content will be Q2, it seems mainly a visual upgrade with improved comfort etc. at this stage. But I am excited about it. I still have some questions: will my existing powerpacks work with it (I assume so), how will they integrate with the strap? Will I benefit from stand-alone lens converters rather than glasses (have heard mixed things: don't want to scratch lenses/glasses, but that's potentially another £100 of cost).
I love the Foundation series! I'm gonna have to re read them before this game comes out. I had no idea this game was coming!
I borrowed a gaming pc off someone and I'm just going through Half-life: Alyx and Asgard's Wrath at present. Great games.
Borrowed a gaming pc? Your friends a legend
Can’t wait for Enhanced Red Matter & Vertigo 2! I do also plan on Getting quest 3 for some PCVR games.
Sir benjo , always love your game previews. Quest 3 is definitely going to be on my Santa list , if I've been naughty or nice is another matter 😂
I just bought my first headset since the orignal oculus. I'm excited to see where the tech has landed 6 years on since playing echo
Awesome video man! I'm glad I found you while surfing! I am buying the 512 gig version of quest 3. I had the 64 gig quest 2 and it was a pain managing the memory, I gave it to my daughter in anticipation of the new one coming, I also have the psvr2 which is fantastic.
Super stoked to receive my new Quest 3. I ordered the 512 Gb version, because I figure it will be awhile before we get a Quest 4 and am a bit tired of deleting and reinstalling games. I have been second guessing myself on the selection because 512 gb is so much space that I don’t think l will ever get close. What do you’ll think?
I just got my Quest 3 in the mail today and spent most of the battery life working out how to use it for the first time, last Headse I had was back in the 90's the VFX1 lol.
Controllers are way better now asa are the graphics, I am fully wowed by the visuals, the graphics in 3D are almost on par with my 85 inch 4K TV and in some demos, even better.
Watching movies on a huge screen on Netflix is amazing, but I have a large TV for this and only was curious to see just how well the Helmet would work as a TV replacement and it does this very well.
I wear glasses and so will be buying the prescription lens addon as the glases become a nuiscance after a while pressing on the nose.
Being nearly 70, I am not that cluey on games and controllers in games as I am a Mouse and Keyboard warrior, so learning to use a COntroller to move about is new, one game I tried made me move, how do you move to get touch points if you are in a Room with items all about lol, I am sure there must be a way to use the controllers to move but all the hand gestures it showed me didn't seem to do much :).
But it is visually amazing inside a game with objects in high resolution, I would really love an Eye of the Beholder style game as when I first played that back in the late 80's early 90's, it was hell scary.
I tried a demo of IT a few years ago on the Samsung Headset and I have to admit it gave me a scare a couple times when you turned around and had the clown only a few feet away, was the best quality game in VR I had seen ever, but for some reason Samsung dropped the ball.
I have Half Life Alyx and will be seeing what it is like once my 3 metre cable arrives, next purchase will be an after market head strap with batteries as well as an after market charger, no idea how I am supposed to charge my controllers as they don't supply one in the box ?
Over all for the low cost of $798 for a headset with this resolution and clarity, I am very happy, the VFX1 cost me just under $2000 back in the early 90's and so would be far more than $10K in todays money lol, so under a grand is amazing.
Can't wait for the Quest 4 now lol :)
One thing I couldn't get an answer to as far as which model to get, I now know and I am glad I didn't waste the money on a 512 as 128 is more than enough for me as I am not an imaptient person and the speed at which games download, who needs the extra memory, just to store demos or ten or 20 more games, I have steam and I have about 8 terrabytes of storage on my PC, yet I only have three Steam games installed as I can download any game I wish to play in under 15 minutes, so make a cup of coffee and bingo game is ready to play :)
Anyone waiting to see if it's worth while, well yes it is, best VR headset I have seen to date and it's very light, I was very surprised by the weight of the box let alone the headset.
Strap is comfortable and the only reason I am getting an after market one os for the battery pack attached :)
I have the rift S, so worth upgrading to the quest 3 or is there a better alternative for PC?
probably one of the biggest years for VR ever and i have a feeling that 2024 is going to be crazy also
Will Ghostbusters have a quest 3 enhancement? I saw that it will have a AR mini game where you smash and kill mini puffs
for the tennis game you are asking for you'd need a tennis court sized play space unless you have artificial locomotion.
Yep pre-ordered the 512gb Quest 3. Looking forward to seeing what a difference those pancake lenses make! Just hope the Bobovr m3 pro will be out quickly so I can get that baby on there as soon as poss for maximum comfort!
I think I heard there is an attachment to make the Bobo M2 compatible with the Quest 3, but a new dedicated strap might be worth waiting for. Seems like the default strap is actually pretty good in the meantime and could probably take a battery strapped to the back if you have one, for balance and extended use.
Yeah I heard about the Bobo attachment. I kind of want to keep it on my Quest 2 though in case I still want to use that occasionally... still not convinced about the tracking on the Quest 3 yet. I think the Q3 soft strap will likely hurt my ears like the Q2 one did so...
So excited to get my quest 3..i honestly feel like a kid again waiting for Christmas... except it's oct 11th for me when I'll be hunting down the mailman lol
Mine is also the 11th and I'm so exited too 😂😂
Great video BB. I'm definitely getting Q3 to replace my Q2, but in the new year.
I’ll be getting a quest 3. Is it backwards compatible with the quest 2 games? Not expecting upscaling etc, i just don’t want my library of quest 2 games stuck on the quest 2
Yep, it’s backwards compatible.
There’s also a nice list of Quest 2 titles getting new updates for Quest 3, and nearly every game will automatically take advantage of the higher resolution.
Look for the Saints & Sinners Quest 2 to Quest 3 upgrade video on CZcams to see a fantastic example of what’s coming.
Great roundup as always, thanks. I always find things to put on my list even though I think I know about all upcoming games. Keep up the good work :)
Oh I just thought about that what about ghost of Tabor are they planning to do any enhancements?
Yes, I did preorder a Quest 3. Less for the performance boost, since I will mostly be playing wireless PCVR with it. But for the comfort and pancake lenses. And the mixed reality part is actually more useful for a father, if my kids are running around and I don't want to hit them on the head, and the entrance barrier is easier for people who want to try the device if they can see their surroundings.
I still think tons of people will keep and even buy Quest 2 even though the Quest 3 is going to be a major hit. Cheap or even used, the amount of games coming out is insane and at that price point folks can afford to have several of them so they can play as a family. I personally will end up with several of them so I'll be able to host VR parties lol. Super fun, so stoked.
Mad”i”son!! I need to experience this through you Beardo because I could never do it myself!
I have loved my quest 2 for years, and if I had the financial means to do so, I would certainly purchase the Quest 3. It looks like a quality product that will push VR capability forward.
Looks like the bank account is going to take a major hit this month!! Quest three and then a plethora of games to choose from?? Major problem where am I going to get the time to play all of them? As usual a great round up of what we have in store for us. Can’t wait to see you in some of those horror titles😂😂
I wish gamers would stop saying this. It's both depressing and has been said over a million times at this point
I preordered the Quest 3 today, and am really looking forward to trying it! That Samba De Amigo game looks like fun.
You buy a new vr headset and that game is the one you pick out of this list and are thrilled about it? Mmmm ok.
Sold my psvr2 and picked up a quest 3 this month, already getting a tonne of use!
Cable to pc or by itself?
My Pico 4 is being delivered tomorrow, what game(s) should I download?! 🙏☺️
Thank you for another awesome and informative video. I'm really hyped because Quest 3 will be my first hands-on contact with VR. It's funny that as a grown-ass man, I'm more impatient than a kid before Christmas😂. Hope to find some new friends to play co-op games like Dungeons of Eternity and, to my shame as a gamer, I will experience Skyrim for the first time in VR.
My friend, you are in for a treat. I didn't care for Skyrim before VR. It was my first VR game and after loads of modding it was amazing. It turned a game that I got easily bored at into the most amazing gaming experience of my entire life.
@@genericpoptart1the exact same experience for me. The problem is once you play Skyrim vr modded everything else seems a bit, well shit.
I’m considering a Q3 just for Skyrim vr, I can’t think of any game that comes close, imo it’s the greatest showcase of what vr should be and it’s how many years old now? Just shows how starved we are of quality games.
@@genericpoptart1 Thanks! I already have the game on Steam. Now I can only hope that my preorder will come as fast as possible.
@@andypacey9266 I hope Asgard's Wrath will be good because it will come for free with the headset, in spite of being a Quest standalone
@@NokutoVR I think it will be ok but Skyrim VR modded is a masterpiece.
Oh I completely forgot - Mantella mod for every single character to be AI - mind blowing to have conversations by just speaking and get a coherent response.
And then there’s the, ahem, adult themes content, oh man, crazy.
Get wabbajack, install the minimalist mod, be blown away!!
I challenge anyone to show me a better VR title, half life Alex included!
didn’t realise Samba had an MR mode too
I ordered the Quest 3 yesterday. I already have a Quest 2, really excited to get the new headset.
Bad Dreams is a must play! Really good small Horror Game.
Thank you, great video!
Crazy amount of games. After the drought of the midyear, I'm not sure I'm ready for this onslaught.
Ordered my Quest 3 yesterday. Can't wait!
Hyped for jJourney to Foundation & Vertigo 2 on PSVR2. Still got a queue of games I've bought &I haven't played, if only I could put down GT7. Best release month in a while.
Q2 owner and already pre-order Q3 here. Can't wait!
Can’t wait for Vertigo 2!!!!
The visuals are a big part of why I only have been using the quest 2 exclusively for PCVR. If the quest 3 gets even close I'll consider it. Can't help but to think it's going to still be watered down though.
+1. If quest 3 improves the visuals and performance of pcvr I might be tempted, but everything beardo just showed us has zero excitement for me personally, PCVR users don’t give a hoot about gorilla monkey beat sabre , dull dull dull.
Been playing my PC games on the Q3. Incredible. Best it's ever looked. Nice colours and the black levels are slightly better than Q2. Looks great at 50-75 brightness for a deeper black. Unreal lenses. No regrets in buying one at all.
I did side by side and it does look better. And stand alone games have benefited with higher frame rates as well. Not regretting it at all.
timestamps? ie normally you split the psvr2, quest 2 and pcvr games into their own sections
Wonder why the release date isn't on the store for Dungens. For October 5th
Pre-ordered my q3.. cant wait!
Anyone else pleased summer is over and autumn is here?
I have pre ordered the quest 3 all I need now Arizona sunshine 2
Whoop whoop, pre-ordered my q3... Waiting waiting
I am interested in meta quest 3, But how is the FOV, do you see a notable difference in FOV?
No one did. Some reviewers even say they have to look after it when they got their device. But believe me most people who got to try quest 3 are people who play vr for years. If it was an AMAZING(bmf style ohh and i love god but Mark more) all of them would have notice it directly.
Huge fan of Asimov's foundation series, although his scientific positivism has definitely become retro-futurism since I read it in the '80s-'90s. Can't say it's a series that came to mind for adaption to games though. I'd have thought the hardboiled/noir of his Robot series would be a better fit.
Huge fan of the Foundation series and I think the show is great but I too am completely at a loss for why this has been made into a game.
Also, it looks like the game is gonna be a generic gun game, so whatever
Thank you
Sadly my quest has been collecting dust since getting my pavr2. Ill have to break it out eventually.
I preordered the 512GB quest 3. I'm still pissed the lower version for$499 didn't have 256GB standard.
can you do chapters in the timeline? that would be really helpful! thanks!
I just saw a video that showed alien isolation coming to the quest 3. Is this true?! Cause if it's native to the quest 3 then I will be buying it!
If you own a pc i guess but then you also can play it on quest2 and even quest 1.
Any idea if Twilight Zone is still coming to psvr2?
I also preordered a 512gb Quest 3 and can’t wait to get my hands on it! However, all hype for Ghostbusters VR has been throroughly quashed. The cartoony, kid friendly take just doesn’t appeal to me and I don’t foresee the game doing well, despite the IP behind it. Really looking forward to Assassin’s Creed and Bulletstorm, and Powerwash Simulator to be honest.
I have been watching the VR evolution for years, i nearly bought the Quest 2 but the graphics didn't give me that wow factor.
Finally i feel the time is right to buy a VR headset.
Quest 3 is looking good enough for me to try.
You can compare it with a pc from 2016. So great but don't exlect half life alyx quality.
Just bought a ps5 so when it's paid in 8 weeks I'm getting the quest 3 although I've heard the pico 5 is going to be insane 😊
Pre-ordered a Q3, I'm more excited for 7th guest vr though, cannot wait for that.
I'm one of the pre-order guys for the Quest 3.. looking forward to it
Short of some sort of terminal issue appearing when people get their hands on them, or the appearance of a superior contender out of nowhere, I'll be grabbing a Quest 3.
I'm not preordering though. I'll wait to see the reviews and possibly even check one out first if possible. I hate tech launches that don't present all the nerdy details.
Is it worth returning my PSVR2 for a Quest 3, or do I continue with the PSVR2? They are bigger experiences and a lot of stuff is ported, but I was disappointed by how easy it is to slip into blurriness on PSVR2. I know how good pancake lenses are. That said, when I find the sweet spot and manage to hold it, a lot of fun can be had.
If you can return it, do it, especially if its your only headset.
Gonna be a long 10-11 days..... waiting for the preorder... xD
How come we never got a real VR baseball game. It's so simple and would be a very enjoyable thing in VR.
Grab a copy of UE and get cracking.
I've never done VR before but I'm a huge gamer and preordered the meta quest 3, mainly for vr fitness games but I must admit some of these upcoming games get me excited.
Gym? Corona is gone.
VR fitness is a great time even if you're not really aiming for fitness. I've burned more calories playing Beat Saber in the last few years than most people have in their entire life lol. Best fitness equipment I've ever bought and it isn't even really fitness equipment. Anything that gets you up off the couch and moving is a win.
@@Thezuule1 ok. A 7 years old vr demo but still 30 bucks get you of your couch. I go visit friends to get of the couch. 90% of the time i play vr games i sit all games support it now. Because pcvr games can't be completed in 2,5 a 3 hours. And since i move a lot at work i don't have weight problems. But don't feel the need standing hitting some blocks coming my way with expensive dlc number?
@@michelverheijen6643 I thought I was clear the other day. I have no interest in discussing anything with you.
@@Thezuule1 bahahaha facebook fanboy. Can't find argument so ignore me. Weak.
I don’t know what to get . ! This will help Xmas 🎅 close
Will you be able to play all the games? You can play on Quest 2 on Quest 3.😢
The gamer in me is very interested in getting the Q3!! But my shaky, not-yet-ready VR legs are telling me to wait for a while longer… 🤣 There are so many games I’d like to try on the Quest, but for now it might be better to get “in shape” first with only my PSVR2.
Tbh most of the stand alone games on quest are play once and never again. The best games came from PCVR and a lot are already on psvr2, like walking dead and red matter, and will look and run better on the PlayStation. I would wait and try and get used to VR more, see if any games worth having actually launch for quest 3. The only reason to get a quest 3 now would be if you are really in to AR. Personally I'm not, I like the idea of it on smart glasses, but id rather VR was separate from AR. Haven't picked my quest 2 up for over a month at this point. But iv been a VR user since 2017, so iv played a lot games and to be honest in my opinion the games don't seem to be getting much better.
I would recommend red matter 2 for getting your VR legs. It was RE4 where I got mine, as i only had re4 and horizon (and horizon was awful for getting vr legs because of the climbing and ghosting) but there is still some ghosting and reprojection is re4 which isn't ideal. Red matter 2 is just so crisp visually as well as slow methodical game, so it's perfect I would say.
You will get there eventually, I started to worry I never would, but I did! Just take it slow and regular, and stop if you feel queasy, don't try and 'power through it' that's the worst thing.
Oh and also stay away from driving/flying games and Kayak VR until you've got your VR legs. I still struggle with those even now. But no issues whatsoever with first person games now.
@@concept226 Well for me the reason for getting a quest would be that it’s a nice combo of standalone and entry to pcvr (AR doesn’t interest me at all either). For my tastes in games, PSVR2 choices are a bit lacking for the moment; I had hoped for more games ported from PSVR1 that I’d always wanted to try… But yeah, until I get used to VR, a few of the games I’d like to play would be too much to handle anyway.
@@royrogers495 Red matter 2 is indeed a game that I would love to try! I was about to get it when they announced the port to PSVR2 for the first game, so now I’ll be able to play both! Like many, my first game was Horizon, which I first played with teleportation then slowly tried with smooth locomotion (and quite a few breaks along the way!!). But now it’s getting better. Made the mistake trying Kayak and very quickly abandoned the idea for now!! I just started Hubris but it’s a (very) slow progress.
I won’t stop trying, though, because VR is way too much fun!
Your VR legs won't just magically materialize without practice. Only way to get over sim sickness is to get in the sim.
Q3 preordered!!! Come on the 10th!! Come onnnn
Angry birds vr would be perfect for quest owners
ordered quest 3 👍
What happened to the muso m8?
I think you should put the price of the VR games you show. also, when a VR game gets a free upgrade you really should mention that as well.
VR gaming for me as I think console flat screen gaming has gone as far as it can.
Roll on the 10th of October when I get my 512gb meta 3..... can't wait.
Hoping to pick up a Quest 3, but waiting to see people's opinion of it, both in terms of PCVR quality and, thanks to a TERRIBLE experience with the Index, build quality. That's honestly my biggest concern these days, way more important than even things like visual and audio quality. But if it runs PCVR well, and has no durability issues, I'll be picking it up ASAP.
I mean, if the headset itself isn't going to bring anything new for PCVR players like me then there's no point in upgrading at all. The only benefit I see is the resolution.
Haha Beardo you obviously haven't played First Person Tennis since the updates its now nearly on Eleven Table Tennis physics level. Its definitely the definitive Tennis game for VR.

Can’t wait for Low-Fi this year.
Also Praydog's UE mod should come out sometime in the next 3 months!!!!
Can't wait! Modders kept android vr alive and pcvr. So they love vr for real. Dr.beef and prahdog should be cold the saviours of vr since quest1 release. They were the only ones who gave us tripple a games while facebook was busy with avatar legs for horizon worlds. 2 billions dollar legs. Why not develope trackers? 4 years of android vr and no one at facebook came with that idea.
"A new step forward in pushing standalone VR closer to the quality of PCVR." ...from 7 years ago.
I've been seeing this sentiment regarding the Quest 3, and it would seem to ignore that PCVR capabilities have advanced in the meantime, too.
I agree. Most vr you tube reviewers say it for years now. And they all own a pc bahahaha. Seems copy paste. Same as saying to your child hmmm i am getting a big quality steak here you have a mac burger it's getting close to a steak. Tech grows but facebook fanboys think only facebook gets better because they release 25(most useless updates when it comes to games) a year. By the time android vr catches up with pc from(remember quest3 is a pc ftom 2016 , 2017/2019 were the glory years of big vr titles) this period 2023, pcvt will have photo realistic graphics bahahaha.
Skipping Quest3, my Quest2 is fine... waiting for a better headset for PCVR. I'd get the Bigscreen Beyond if it came with controllers.
