    Thank you for this comprehensive and what I think is a VERY accurate explanation. I always mistyped as an INFP until I started working on my trauma and actually studied the functions and came to understand I’m an ENTP. The blanket stereotypes of ENTPs being evil alcoholic sex demons irritates me, though sometimes true. But this is the cake within, not the icing everyone sees. Not all ENTP cakes are purple on the outside. But we are the similar cake on the inside. Thank you.

    Good video and accurate (I’m also an ILE). Also, anything as accurate, when about yourself, is also quite amusing (e.g., the bit about turning questions of pure preference into more objective inquiries that you’re more comfortable responding to, because, in practice, I can see how other people find this a bit odd/silly). My only issue is the emphasis on the superiority of socionics over any other system. No ILE is finding this video who isn’t interested in socionics, and that kind of gloss of insisting that socionics is clearly superior is a bit of a turn-off because, if it is, an ILE isn’t going to dogmatically hold onto the other. I have a few lingering issues with socionics, including the idea that every inter-type relationship is equally good/bad (though Gulenko admittedly somewhat caveats this in his writings) and that the praxis for describing personal development is not as developed or insightful. I understand that you want to claim a space for socionics in the CZcams community (which is actually a surprisingly fertile ground for personality theory given the direction of most western psychology and philosophy departments), but I think that the content can stand on its own merits when well-explained (which you have), and that it shouldn’t be in the muck of content espousing the latest fads or even concerned about that stuff.

    • @WorldSocionics
      @WorldSocionics  Před rokem +2

      I don't understand these issues you have.
      Intertype relations aren't equally good or bad. Some are more complementary than others.
      Personal development and growth is built into Socionics and it helps clarify the path for that development that aligns to the individual's values and needs.
      So what else is preventing you from accepting that Socionics is superior?

    • @WorldSocionics
      @WorldSocionics  Před rokem +2

      Why would your main argument for me being 2nd quadra be around my Ti being overconfident?@@JarlCung-yz4ft
      You seem to forget that Gulenko uses Model G, which is a wholly different formation of the Socionics types on a structural level. A mainstream ILE is no longer the same as a Gulenko ILE, and the same with EIE.
      That is why a Gulenko typing is able to ignore my Ti being strong, because the 'Manipulative' function in Model G, which is meant to be like the Suggestive function of Model A has a high amount of energy allocation, unlike with Model A.
      So when you imply I am really an EIE based on what Gulenko thinks, you are not in fact saying anything about what my type is in Model A, which is the system I use and the system almost everyone who wants to watch my video uses.
      At the same time you, evidently without this understanding of these important nuances around Socionics, assert what I need to do to become a better socionist. That is the kind of certainty only brought about by ignorance.

I think you are EIE The Actor in Both Model A and Model G. You are very aristocratic and expressive. In fact, I think your entire presence on CZcams is a character that you are playing. Dunno why Gulenko typed you EIE-N, you are more EIE-C, the multifaceted actor that can effectively play the "genius and the villain" simultaneously. As others have said, you should probably just accept your EIE typing that you know is true and save some face. Also, I see that you have an upcoming CZcams video Premier on the way, and it says ISFP.
    Is it
    ISFP (with a capital "P" (similar to MBTI's ISFP) or
    ISFp (with a small "p" (similar to MBTI's ISFJ))?

      I just see now the "Nurturer" word in the video's title, also I haven't noticed the Ti mobilizing function on the thumbnail. Maybe I'm not even an ESI :).
      So now I see that your video title should(?) be actually "ISFp" (not "ISFP"), my bad.
      I was just confused, because after I saw the ISFP (with capital "P") I haven't really checked other details in the title, or in the video's thumbnail.

    • @WorldSocionics
      @WorldSocionics  Před rokem +3

      The way I see it, there is no MBTI 'ISFJ', it's an incoherent framing of type and will eventually be cast aside as people learn more. There is only the true Jungian ISFP, which so far is best described in Socionics. I think that the use of a lower case 'p' or 'j' is an unnecessary compromise on the part of socionists trying not to tread on the toes of the incorrect MBTI. We should simply say that a real ISFP is Si+Fe and a real ISFJ is Fi+Se.

    I am confused between LIE and ILE. Since both have weak Fi and Si, and are really good at Ne, Te, Ni, Ti. How can which one I am? And Fe and Se are muddy waters for both. LIEs and ILEs are not particularly strong or weak at them and so those functions become difficult to decipher for either of the types. What do you suggest? Where do I look for differences?

    • @WorldSocionics
      @WorldSocionics  Před rokem

      The differences are in the values. Do you want more Fi+Se or Si+Fe in your life? Out of Ti and Ni, which one do you suppress and which one do you readily use to support your endeavours?

      @ahmadyasin308 Před rokem

      @@WorldSocionics I would say I use Ni, but Te with Ni can give you a very Ti feel. I do care about the future consequences. I do things keeping in mind that there is a future where these skills or whatever I am doing will end up helping me in some sort of way. This seems Ni. Add to it that I also enjoy philosophy and generally have a deep appreciation for the symbolic. But Ti with Ne can make one future-oriented too, by doing things for a reason. If to be prepared for the future is something my Ti has come to adopt, then maybe I use that Ti motivation with Ne exploration to be future-focused. Because I do things logically. It has to make sense to me. I don't allow other people to do the thinking for me. I appreciate them giving me facts and figures and logic but at the end, I will make a decision on my own with regard to how I will use the provided knowledge. So, how do I differentiate between Ti and Ni? It confuses me.
      And I think I use Fi Se, but I want more Si, Fe. Because I am socially awkward sometimes, too direct and blunt, tactless in a way, and I want to be a public figure in the future and so I want to learn how to manage my image and so my Fe needs a lot of working. It definitely drains me when I am forced to use social grace and elegance. A barbaric way of conversation comes more naturally to me. Plus I live in a very Fe society too. So I need it. But I think I use Fi Se. Indulging in sports and outdoorsy stuff and am very explorative with my senses, be it food or any kind of experience and I have a set of morals too which I will stand by even if everyone asks me not to, be it my own mother.
      I am thinking I could be LIE but am not sure.

    • @WorldSocionics
      @WorldSocionics  Před rokem

      @@ahmadyasin308 Ni with Te should not create a Ti feel. This is only considered because MBTI lacks the dichotomies to differentiate Ni and Ti reliably. What you describe is using some of Ne, some Te, some Ti and Ni, rather than these things becoming like each other. So then, the question is which do you VALUE, not simply which do you use.
      Why would you want to be a public figure? That's interesting for an LIE.
      If you'd like to book an interview with me, we can work out your type.

    • @ahmadyasin308
      @ahmadyasin308 Před rokem

      @@WorldSocionics I think in terms of valuing, I would say Te and Ni. I do care about Ti in a way.. but sometimes, Ti is very annoying. It's the lack of utility in it. If something doesn't work, why should it be considered? I mean I value truth but if it is the falsity that is getting something done, why not go with it.
      My definitions definitely need working. I came from MBTI.. so I do need time to explore and understand socionics. Your videos are quite a good start for me. But I am still an infant in this field. I need more exploring.
      As for why I wish to be a public figure, I would say it gives me the freedom to do what I want when I want. If I want to help people, I might be able to do that. If I want to make some changes in my community, I might have the power to do so. Being in public gets you more eyes on you which means, most of the time, more money, and money definitely gives you a lot of means for everything. I mean the whole world right now is spiralling into a mess. If at all I end up wanting to change something, I can at least be in a position to do so. By public figure, I do not mean a politician or a social leader or a cultist. I want to just be a figure who is public. I wish to be an actor.. maybe an entrepreneur too down the line. So it's like getting work done, doing what I love, exploring my curiosity, but also being in public. The idea of being unknown is very frightening to me for some reason. I don't know why. Maybe it strips me of my freedom to do what I want and get away with it. It's not that I will indulge in something harmful but then whatever is harmful is defined by society and it cannot be trusted. So that freedom can be used for the wrong definitely but if I think I am right, then I should be able to do it. Take Elon Musk. His decisions might be questionable but at least he can do what he wants. Now I do need to work on my moral compass for this reason because I don't want to be using my power for bad, knowingly or unknowingly. Also, the dependence that comes with not being public is scary. When I am not in power, I have to depend on someone who is in power. So it's for some of these reasons that I want to be publicly known. By the way, I am just 20 years old and in my 2nd year of university. And so I still am to explore the world for what it is.. I might be completely wrong about how it works so my decisions and desires can change depending upon what I end up seeing from here on.
      I could do an interview but honestly, I am not very self-aware or introspective. I am starting to see myself having an identity but it's just a beginning. I could get something out of me but it needs time and contemplation. And add to that, I don't have a good memory. I literally do not remember any of my childhood. And I have very faint memories of my teenage years. I keep looking at my childhood pictures and I keep asking people about me so that I can reconstruct an image of me so that if someone asks something about me, I would at least know a teeny tiny bit. And it still is me looking at the past me in 3rd person, which is not very reliable because it relies heavily on interpretation rather than actual experience. I really don't think an interview would get anything out of me.

    I'm using mbti codes here coz I don't want to confuse myself so pardon me here. I'm an entj in my late 40s, after going through an intense period works I would just call mid life crisis for simplicity sake. During that period which lasted a good 4 years, I truly felt like an isfp (you world call it isfj) who was intensely searching to understand myself, learning to let go and have fun and shutting down the Te frequently, while Ni is never shut down but j7st quietly supporting in the background.....which led me to theorise that something like mlc can flipped our ego and super id block upside down.

    Entp here is related to intj. In fact I've never seen these two types as very alike. They're easy to tell apart for me. So perhaps here again typing the "analyst" as an INTJ makes sense. We "analysts" are also inherently judgemental and this isnt adequately captured by the so called P personality. We definitely come to a fixed conclusion of some kind quite quickly based on our predelection for precise thinking. Its ironic.
