  • Through this trial I can’t help but wonder what was the plan had Karen Read not Awoken and gone to look for Officer John O’Keefe? The people that know what happened had to of had something planned- Would they then if said he had attended the party but left and the next day he was discovered in the front yard covered by snow? A light covering of snow was on him as he laid on 6 inches of snow under him? Which since it was just sticking to the ground Karen Read was home - Just curious

I’ve been saying this since opening statements:
*”It does NOT take the whole team to ‘fix’ a championship… it only take a Player and a Ref.”*
*”In the case against Karen Read… it only takes a Proctor and a McAlbert. once the fix is in… the rest will lead the way.”*

To me if I were his family listening to this crap I would of moved to the defense side and glared holes in the prosecution! How can anyone not see the cover up actually it’s a crappy cover up
However so much time has elapsed his killers will most likely not be prosecuted
Knowing one has already killed someone in a hit and run and only got 6 months for that I doubt they would have any issues sleeping as he can apparently sleep like a baby and harass people he is suppose to be terrified of! Thank you! Wasn’t aware there was 6” of snow under his body. The Judge’s brother allegedly represented, Chris Albert(pizza shop owner, selectman, Julie’s husband, Colin’s Dad, Convicted felon), in a hit & run death. Chris was DUI & served 6 months. So, the family has personal experience with hit & run accidents. Think the Prosecutor was all over the place and brought in so many witnesses to confuse the jurors, overwhelm them with evidence, and bore them so their minds would wander. There was activity on, John’s phone at, 12:32. Karen, connected to the wi-fi at, John’s house at 12:36. There’s NO WAY she hit him because SHE WASN’T THERE!

There are so many comments I could make about this case, but I am going to stick to your question. The key is that I believe the snow plow driver Lucky. Therefore, John's body was not on the lawn at 2:30am, and there was a Ford Edge parked in that spot at 3:30am.
In my opinion, the McAlberts were waiting for his first pass, then moved the body, but there wasn't enough snow yet so he was still visible and they decided to park the car to allow for more snow. Expecting another pass at 4:30am, they figured it was time to move the car, but Lucky didn't come back again until 6:10 (the police dashcam shows when he was turning around on the side street). By then, Jon's body had been found and Jen had a brilliant idea.
I think that Jen had no idea Karen would call her, but when she did and they began looking for John, Jen used her master manipulating skills to plant the idea in Karen's head, "Do you think you could have hit him?" When she went in the house, she convinced everyone to follow her new plan.

You've made great points Nana. I live in MA and have followed this case closely. I never thought Karen had anything to do with this death but it never made sense to me that they would have left a body on their own front lawn either. Now you've made me realize that the plan, all along, could ( allegedly) have been to blame Lucky. I'd be willing to bet that they knew that was his usual plowing route, or they could easily have found out. It would also explain why the body was left in that location, so it would look like he was hit by a passing plow. Karen just happened to find John first and that made her an even more convenient scape goat. All speculation of course, but it would certainly answer a few questions. I doubt we will ever really know what happened to poor John O'Keefe that night, which is really sad for Karen and especially for his family

When it comes to people asking "why would the homeowner leave him on the lawn"? It's actually a very simple answer. Everyone that night knew John was invited back to the house, there would be evidence of follow up phone calls to John and others in the house asking him if he was coming, multiple people claim they actually saw Karen pull up to the house. Also, there is video evidence of John at the Waterfall with most of the people who ended up going back to 34 Fairview. It would have made it much more difficult for them to put John's body somewhere else when it would have been proven John was last seen at 34 Fairview. As Lucky testified he knew the Alberts and they knew him. They knew Lucky would be plowing that street so I believe Lucky was the one they intended to pin it on all along. The simple salt of the earth kind of guy, hard worker who probably didn't have the means to really defend himself. That was until Jen McCabe took Karen's words and twisted them. "Did I hit him" "could I have hit him" turned into "I hit him" " I hit him". After watching this Nana and as I write my comment I am reminded that after 4 days of deliberations we still don't have a verdict. In my opinion there is no logical explanation for it as this trial was the greatest farce and embarrassment in the history of trials. For example, in any other trial with any other judge, evidence that has NO chain of custody would never ever be allowed to be entered in as evidence, A Trooper named Paul with 120 hrs of online courses in accident reconstruction would never ever be able to testify as an expert witness and when the defense finds out during trial while cross examining a witness that they held back exculpatory evidence like knowing where "Chloe the dog" was all along that's grounds for a mistrial. This goes way deeper then any of us really know. There's either a plant on that jury or they have not been blessed with common sense. I've never witnessed an easier NG verdict in all my time watching trials. #FKR

Karen may have been in their plan from the start. We may assume one or more of them knew that Karen drove John to the afterparty and they ceated the false scenario that Karen backed into John before she left. And when Karen woke up and called Jen it went even easier than expected. Because now Jen and her friend were alone with Karen and witnesses when John was found. Super opportunity for them to report on what Karen said and did. Problem: Mentioned ladies are of the Albert clan, Karen is not.
