Turn it up to 11 is a reference to 'This is Spinal Tap', where the guitarist says his amp is louder because it turns up to 11 and not just 10....BUT he then follows it up with the Demogorgan bar, which links 11 to Stranger thing, combining the two bars. He's hidden so many different reference and double meanings. A lyrical masterclass!

His lyrical use of double entendres is amazing, "I'm ready I'm heavy, I’m Mercury, I am Freddy,..." Mercury being a HEAVY metal, Freddy Mercury....😵💫 C'MON! Even the title is a double entendre - "Illest of our Time". He's firing warning shots in this one and making sure everyone takes notice. Nice to see him showing some attitude and confidence, being a little braggadocious. I Love it.
He did a live stream right after the video dropped yesterday (on Twitch), and to see his genuine, emotional reaction to how many reaction channels had already posted videos within an hour of the songs release, was truly heartwarming. He shows his soul. This young man deserves every bit of love , support, and success he's finally getting. I couldn't be happier for him, especially for someone so talented, so driven, and without question, someone who has been forged through fire. Love this kid! Fan for life.

Honestly the beat sounds like something out of an action scene from the matrix, actually such an amazing song.
Like he's actually a wordplay savant. The skill he has for layering bars to not just rhyme but have double or even tripple meanings. It's on the same level as Childish Gambino and Kendrick. It's actually crazy.
