I am coming back and watching these fights after Alex has made his transition to MMA. Man this is an awesome fight. Vakhitov is a beast. It's a shame Glory dropped him.
Just came here to see what he’d look like at light heavyweight. He can easily fight at 205, considering he’s fighting here at 209. Makes me think how a fight against him vs Rozenstruik would be. Two great kickboxers who both came from Glory. Rozenstruik is obviously the heavier guy but Alex is very big as well and a better technical striker.
Not nearly enough volume to deserve giving him the win. You can't tuck your chin up and eat shots to your gloves and land some clean low kicks and win the fight. If he threw more volume he'd have won but he was getting hurt by knees and damage matters more

What a shame , Vakhitov won that fight clearly. Artem fought a perfect game plan. He was blocking all most every shot and was in a nice flowing state making combinations offensively and on the counter. Pereira was only looking for a big counter shot especially his hooks but he couldn’t figure out Vakhitov. He tried to lure Artem to open up for a big counter but Artem was composed. By doing so Pereira wasted time by not engaging much whilst Artem kept scoring on points. Pereira should’ve changed his game plan a little bit once he noticed that Artem was blocking everything and wouldn’t open up his guard by engaging with more subtle combinations so that he could get a good counter. Having said that I think it was clear that pereira is much stronger and dangerous than Artem because you could see a lot of his shots were not meant for the ko but to create a decisive counter but even so the shots that were aggressive and more powerful that he was throwing were like bombs and you could see that reaction in Artem’s face. He just wasted valuable time. Artem is a genius fighter and based on that should’ve won on points clearly.
The first time I see Artem. He reminds me of the red scorpion of Ignachov. He is too skilled and he won this fight. He overwhelmed Pereira. He had no solution and he will need long time for his leg to heal

Even Pereira was surprised by his win. 3.15. Vahitov was sharper and had a superior game plan which he managed to perfectly implement. Fight was close 100 percent. But with slight edge Vahitov won
I agree but in my vision, round 1, 3 and 4 are the ones that Pereira won because the overal damage from both figthers were very close, so the amount of strikes settled those rounds giving Pereira the fight
I get what you're saying, but Pereira damaged vahitov more and vahitov played it too safe with his guard all the way up the whole fight. Double edged sword, made Alex a more active fighter but anyway. Close fight anyone could have gotten the win by split decision
That's completely your speculation 😂 the only difference is that artem was striking more for points but everytime Pereira answered he took control of the fight immediately. More strikes don't mean anything if you didn't pressure your opponent enough to keep him from countering effectively and backing you up.
Vim aqui depois do segundo titulo do Poatan no UFC. Depois das atuações, e dos nocautes, que o Poatan proporcionou no UFC, tá mais do que comprovado que o Artem é um guerreiro...
I had Perreira winning 1,2,4,5 but i can see people thinking Vakhitov won 3,4 and any other round actually lol. Amazing fight. Really hard tempo, exhausting fight. Rematch would be interesting
In my vision, Pereira won round 1,3,4 bc there were no clear winner based on damage, so Pereira takes it by the amount of strikes, bt round 2 and 5 were clear victory by Vakhitov, the diference betwen the amount of stries hasn't so diferent but he caused a lot more damage in Poatan, anyway, 48-47 Alex "Poatan" Pereira
Just rewatched this for the 100th time. Absolutely the worst robbery in a title fight. Nor Vakhitov nor Pereira wanted to believe it 😂 shame on you Glory
I think Stone Hands won rounds 1,2,5 easy. But I will say Vakitov is one helluva soldier I’d be knocked out in the first round. And both of them looked really good at the end of the fight. I’m amazed there’s longevity in this sport.
Poatan has 33 kickboxing wins with 21 knockouts. Vakhitov has 23 with 8 knockouts. They are both amazing but I always prefer fighters that go for finishes in combat sports. As a fan winning by points is never quite as interesting. They would all kick my butt though.
Even when Pereira goes up weight class to fight for the light heavyweight glory kickboxing title, he still looks bigger than his opponent! his ability to cut weight is unbelievable!
Who's here after UFC 300???

That's completely your speculation 😂 the only difference is that artem was striking more for points but everytime Pereira answered he took control of the fight immediately. More strikes don't mean anything if you didn't pressure your opponent enough to keep him from countering effectively and backing you up.
Vim aqui depois do segundo titulo do Poatan no UFC. Depois das atuações, e dos nocautes, que o Poatan proporcionou no UFC, tá mais do que comprovado que o Artem é um guerreiro...
Uhm... Vakhitov won imho. We need a rematch asap.
I Still remember that fight, both are great kick boxers
I had Perreira winning 1,2,4,5 but i can see people thinking Vakhitov won 3,4 and any other round actually lol. Amazing fight. Really hard tempo, exhausting fight. Rematch would be interesting
Exactly this
You must be blind
Same here. I had him winning 1,2, and 5 clearly.
Peraira fanboy ha ? 😁
Vakhitov's guard is so good, blocking punches.
Artem won this fight100%
Just rewatched this for the 100th time. Absolutely the worst robbery in a title fight. Nor Vakhitov nor Pereira wanted to believe it 😂 shame on you Glory
ALEX É MUITO BOM MAS, O RUSSO VAKHITOV É MUITO DURO TBM!🥊🥊💖
I love you guys from Glory but you really need better quality in your audio and cameras
Who are the judges in this one , The Brazilian chamber of commerce.
Those high ranked fighters are gentlemen who lose with grace and win with modesty. Role models in this regard.
I think Stone Hands won rounds 1,2,5 easy. But I will say Vakitov is one helluva soldier I’d be knocked out in the first round. And both of them looked really good at the end of the fight. I’m amazed there’s longevity in this sport.
Nah, Vakhitov won 2 fair enough, i give Pereira 1,3 and 5, better volume
Close fight people calling it a robbery are not right. I had it 1,3,4,5 for Periera
Nah he did not win r2
Vakitov won 2, and 5 imo 3rd could be anyone
Please guys upload Cedric doumbe vs Murthel 3
Poatan has 33 kickboxing wins with 21 knockouts.
Vakhitov has 23 with 8 knockouts.
They are both amazing but I always prefer fighters that go for finishes in combat sports. As a fan winning by points is never quite as interesting.
They would all kick my butt though.
We want rematch high leve kickboxing is this so do it again!
Pereira se esquiva do oponente botando a cara na mão do oponente 😂😂 esse é brabo kkkkkk sucesso irmão ❤️😂
Essas joelhadas do Poatan são muito técnicas.
Espero Vakhitov regrese más fuerte.
Great Fight Respect To These Warriors

Even Alex was surprised about the decision
The man does not understand English he was not surprised he just does not know who is the winner until a hand is raised.
31:15 vakhitov: "bro... You win"
WUNDERBAR!!WONDERFUL!!HOPE TO SEE DOUMBE VS GROENHART2 SOON. GRAZIE MILLE GLORY
3 of course
Groenhart has stopped kickboxing. He is now training for mma
@@juangarcia-kj1wr they already fought 3 times
The fight was good. I'm not quite sure of the justice of the decision, but the men fought as they should, bone to bone. Battle of two strategists👍
Nosso guerreiro indígena! ✊🏽🏹
me mama
I can t understand why the winner is Pereira. The Russian clearly won with an amazing technique and combos
Congratulations to the New Glory Legend. PO ATAN THE MAN.
When’s the next event?
Vakhitov was a beast, walking Pereira down, damaging him and had a tight tight defense!
Even when Pereira goes up weight class to fight for the light heavyweight glory kickboxing title, he still looks bigger than his opponent! his ability to cut weight is unbelievable!
The judging for Glory isn't always the best.
1:49 🗿🗿🗿🗿
Артём слишком много напринимал, как танк. Хотя и давил и показывал большую активность, да и бой сделал красивее , но Перера набивал очки.
Pereira vs Adesanya would be something else!
Alex was surprised by the decision, go backend watch his expression. I like Alex but I think Artem won. (and so does Alex.)
Close fight, but Pereira clearly won. After Pereira defend his middlewheight tittle and chalange Rico at heavywheight, Artem deserves a rematch.
Alex should fight MMA too
