You have no idea how blessed you are ( figure of speech) as i figure you do know 😊 that you have a "pops" that says "let's do it!" Whenever you suggest another road trip.... my gosh the world would be such a better place if EVERYONE could experience that ❤

We would 100% agree that we are blessed! To have the relationship, time, and resources to do these trips is not something we take for granted. We are very thankful!

April 2024, access to the bridge was closed, the entire loop, there was no issue with snow so I'm not sure for how long. To see everything, travel the Alcan after mid-May, when campsites, visitor centers and museums are open for the season and the sign post forest/falls trail aren't icy/slushy from snow! However, if you do go in April... McClintock Bay's Swan Haven is open and the trumpeter/tundra swans are there in hundreds! Swan Haven is 30 minutes from Whitehorse (before Whitehorse). I drove early April for a specific reason, but will do the drive again, in late May/early June. I also want to do it Delta Junction-Dawson Creek because I noticed most of the best turnoffs were on the outer lanes! Whitehorse was awesome, I stayed three days there and all the museums were open. The Beringia Interpretive Center was amazing. In Delta Junction, was that massive mosquito there by the visitor's center?

Well done! Thank you! I did this in 2007, starting in Fairbanks, then down to California and Nevada. What a trip! Unforgettable 👍🤜🤛

Through my Lens, I did this solo from northern IL back in '84, when it was still 30% gravel. What a memorable trip. I remember Muncho Lake to this day, though my first night was at the Pink Mtn. campground.
While on the subject of Kluane N.P., this is worth mentioning: UNESCO has pointed out that starting near Gulkana just outside the west edge of Wrangell-St. Elias N.P., it’s possible to travel through Kluane N.P., B.C.’s Tatshenshini (tat-shen-SHE-knee) Provincial Park, and Alaska’s Glacier Bay N.P. in an unbroken string of wilderness and icefields around 550 mi./885km. long.
Tok is a weird name. I read in Milepost back in '84 that it comes from Tokyo Camp, one of the construction camps during the building of the AK Hwy. during WW2, which eventually became a town.

Get video. You are good with the camera. The first time I drove it was the end of April in 1979. Many places went even open yet so we had only a few stops. We did it in 2013 and spent over a week. The road was gravel in 1979.

I lived in the Yukon and Alaska for 20 years, and here I (and everyone else I ever knew up there) thought the Alaska highway ended in Fairbanks. Interesting how history gets rewritten. Ah well, live and learn.

As far as living in, owning a house etc. what would be your top three states to live in? Not just beauty considered but cost-of-living crime everything... maybe you could make a video on it
