I remember downloading some mega-compilation of all kinds of dark/harsh/wave music, I loved all of it, but AP stood out, and I love the way the sound evolved through the pop phase and now it's mixing it together and it's even better than both types were before it!
I was absolutely PRAYING a new album would come around soon. Thank you so much Daniel. I've been a fan for awhile now and just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your work. I listen to your stuff for inspiration every time I create a piece (I'm a visual artist). Excellent stuff brother.
Once in high school I made this big art project listening to AP. I've been struggling to get back into art for years, but I put on this album and just drew for 43 minutes straight no problem. This is why this is my favorite band and i love this album 😭😀

For all the ongoing, and dull, debate about AP reaching out too far into the modern pop tropes, this album shows a great mastery of song writing and some unexpected flavours. I have been following your work for years and every new release is a pleasure (even if it strays from my preconceptions about what might come next). Even in the songs that so far I enjoy less, there's confidence and pride. Not too mention few of them are on repeat already, because of the flawless beat and trademark AP romanticism. Cheers!
PS. There's something exciting about the merging of old and new visual iconography too.

This has GOT to be the most impressive album so far! Mixing various styles and making them your own, Daniel ........... I can't put into words how amazing this album is. I wish the CD player in my car didn't grow rows of teeth! Can't replace the CD player without removing the entire dash of my car, and I can't afford that. It even tried to eat the cleaning CD! This is an album that is going to be POPULAR to our styles of liking and loving. I LOVE it when you try different things -- this turned out to be of amazing leaps and bounds.
This music is pure energy and make me move all my body .....I love it....Into the black is moving all my memories .

I think it was a good idea to get back to the full album format. Some of the songs did hit just that much harder because of the ones before them, especially Mourning Doves. The first 2 felt a little off, but from No Boys Allowed all are favourites. It was worth the wait, I'm in love again.
Your social media "Blackout" makes even more sense given the album name. I love your work and I'm so ecstatic that this release is as wonderful as i had expected and dreamed. Keep making your marvelous brand of art... I'm gonna keep eating it up

You never ever fail us. Brilliant album. I REALLY love 'Gods & Gold', it is threatening to push 'Love Like Lies' down to my 2nd favourite all-time Aesthetic Perfection song! Rally love 'No Boys Allowed' too. This whole album is fucking brilliant.
