it is showmanship. It comes with the territory. the champ has to provide entertainment to the fans. He has to look the part. make no mistakes about it he will put in everything to keep that belt. He most likely will train more and work harder because he has something to lose. Fear of loss is a greater than hope of gain. it is very primal and full of energy.
