    You have a great eye for color! This combination is really festive and fun. I liked the close up you showed of one of the areas of adhesion, and also how you showed the strength of the combined pieces. Thank you for this fun demonstration! Might there be a Christmas creation coming up? 😊🎄

      Thank you so much! Funny you should say that about Christmas. I was just thinking of doing just that, with some silver, red, gold.... Always enjoy your comments : )

    I really love the colors you find and put together. I have a lot of glassware from relatives and thrift stores. My struggle is deciding whether to use the family glassware for similar designs. My children are not interested in storing such pieces, but may like such a creation in their respective gardens.

      You should create something with all of it! It's better to be sitting pretty in the garden than stored away in boxes : )

    Used to see these at craft fairs... would like to know how you drilled the holes in the plate?

    how do you determine when to use epoxy or the E6000?

    • @MyLittleSliceofParadise
      @MyLittleSliceofParadise  Před 19 dny

      I've been using mostly epoxy now, and may also switch from E6000 to GE silicone. I will only use E6000 if I am putting the project in the shade, because it melts in the hot Florida sun!

    Is there any way to stake it into the ground so it doesn't get blown over it knocked over?

    • @MyLittleSliceofParadise
      @MyLittleSliceofParadise  Před 7 měsíci +1

      I could do that, but it's pretty heavy so I don't think it will blow over. If there is ever a hurricane I would put it on the porch. If you have any ideas for attaching a stake I would love to hear it ; )

      I would fill the vases with colored sand to make it heavier. Love the design and colors. I've always had a problem with other nighttime critters trying to climb up to get water and knocking my birdbath over. However, not everyone had that problem.
