Polynesian Panthers reunite to mark 45 years

- The Polynesian Panthers marked its 45th anniversary today. The activist group was founded by young Pacific Islanders dedicated to fighting for the rights of their people, and as Peata Melbourne, the Polynesian Panthers were also staunch supporters of the fight for Māori rights.
Had the honor and privilege to meet a few of the members on Tuesday 16 June 1971 (their 49th year anniversary) grateful and so appreciative of these amazing men and women who fought for our rights and gave us a voice.
