Synopsis:
In the year 20XX, Dr. Thomas Light, an Nobel Prize winning professor in the field of Robotics, creates a series of 6 revolutionary robots entitled the "Robot Master Series DRN" in an effort to use robotics as a mean to better mankind. As a personal project, Dr. Light creates 2 androids named Roll (a female) and Rock (a male) who are made to be as human as possible from appearance to behavior. Rock and Roll are, however, also created due to Light's goal to have the children he was never able to have. Meanwhile, after the creation of the series gains Light his Nobel Prize in Physics and notoriety, his partner and colleague, Dr. Albert Wily, grows enraged and jealous of Light's success. Secretly, a man who wants control and power. Dr. Wily decides to reprogram and steal the robot master series to do his bidding so he can wreak havoc and gain control of the city. As Wily begins to steal more of Light's creations, it becomes clear to him he has the resources to systemically gain more and more control in an effort to reach his ultimate goal: total world domination. With a strong sense of duty and regard for humanity, Rock volunteers to receive a battle upgrade in an effort to battle Wily's forces, thus donning the name "Megaman". The battle for humanity is now between Megaman and all the bots at Wily's disposal.

No matter how many times I watch this, it never gets old...
You have to wonder what Eddie could've done with an actual Hollywood budget if he was able to craft THIS masterpiece on such a small budget. You can tell he's just as much a fan as any one of us.
Hollywood needs directors like this.
Same! Me and my bro watch this every year and a sort of tradition ever since the first time we watched it.
For a fan film, this has class.
I know what you guys mean this wonderfully made.
I couldn't agree more. This film truly captures the heart and soul of what makes Mega Man as a series so great.
Absolutely right. 💯
The guy who played Doc Light has earned my respect... he's good at his role.
the man is a fucking horror movie legend apparently. this put me on to so many other stuff i loved
we need to recover all the energy immediately mmegaman
@@7spidersofhh Lol, for real?
He has this sort of kind grandfatherly aura (I know he isnt that old but you know what I mean) and soothing voice.
That man was meant for the role
I’m laughing so hard because they did this much better than any big studio budget could
So Netflix is trying to make a live action MegaMan movie, and I couldn't help but come back here, because I know for a fact, there's no way Netflix could make anything better than this.
If it is better than this, I'm gonna be damn surprised I tell you hwat.
@@CelestinaakaClonaClox9999 yeah, but this is Netflix we're talking about. With ever hidden gem is piles, upon piles of shite.
Sorry I'm late to the party, I hope this Netflix L.A still happening?
Wait they are making a live action MegaMan?! I really hope it comes out
I think they will do good, disney stays true to its video game adaptations, like the withcher, cuphead, castlevania. I think its gonna be fine
Back to watch this again. The story is so well told I couldn't care less about visual effects.
I love the acting. Wily feels so intimidating.
The fact that this masterpiece's only 3M views is unfair, it should have 100M views !
i know why, its because they made megaman and his sister both asians instead of americans like doctor light.
Dr. Wily is brilliantly acted.
Love your Sonic pic. Enjoying the amazing films?

@@hectorcollazo8845 Indeed. And the Sonic pic is from Sonic Generations.
@@ryanwilson9555 I know. Awesome game.
That mustache is disturbing to say the least.
I love how each robot master has a distinct personality. For instance Elec Man is a narcissist and Ice Man had a split personality. Great touch.
The personalities are based on their Mega Man Powered Up versions.
Ice Man is acting like a soldier in Powered Up, if I remember.

Can we all agree that they got Dr. Wily and Light almost perfect

The MegaMan video games were my favorite.
Rewatching in 2020. As far as low budget fan films go, this still holds up imo. Love this movie. So much love for the source material. What it lacks in block buster effects and A-list actors. It makes up for with commendable performances and a ton of heart. Bravo!
Sure, the CGI isn't the greatest, but I really love Guts Man's design here.
I would love to by the mega man costume

This was a low-budget fan film. Considering that, they did a great job. The actor that played Wily was perfect. Don't expect A-movie CGI. I was able to watch a full length movie about my favourite NES character for free just now. I couldn't have done better, and I don't imagine that any of the people criticizing could have either. Low budget movies, guys. If you don't like it, stop watching it. It you can appreciate it for what it is, then give it a thumbs up and grab some popcorn and a beer!
patrickikis I really have to agree...the acting was also particularly good for a fan film - perhaps professional actors volunteered for the project.
patrickikis Hm, they could've done a little better on the CGI though. It's too obvious when it switches from real video to CGI models.
patrickikis Nice words man you rock
patrickikis I would play this on movie night.
patrickikis Couldn't have said it better myself, honestly... I really couldn't, I tried. ^_^
Damn, this was a pretty dope fan film, gotta' say. Sure, some of the CGI was a bit low quality, some of the dialogue felt a little stilted at times and the camera positions/movements could have used a bit more tweaking, but, overall, this was very well done for being low budget and only with a small handful of people working on it to boot. My hat goes off to you, Eddie Lebron, and all the others that had a hand in this fan film. It might not have been a masterpiece, but it definitely was damn good for what it was. It definitely had a lot of heart and I appreciate a lot of the characterization given to these characters (Wily, especially). Here's hoping you make it big so you can get around to making an awesome, high-budget blockbuster one day!
Dr Wily pleading for mercy almost made me cry
@Mario Kid3600 wily hates laughter then
Like every Megaman game after he get's beaten
Boo hoo to you, Dr Wily!
@@bennetgiesbrecht994lol
for a fan movie, this is amazing! this depicts the way wily turned evil because of light!
You're gonna like MM11 then!
I mean did you see how his contributions were ignored even though he worked just as hard as light but got none of the credit while I fully understand that he already was a little unstable I feel as if he got the attention he deserved and seeked help through therapy and anger management maybe perhaps Maybe Wily would have done what he did
But Dr. Wily is Dr. Wily. We need our evil scientist, no matter what version of Wily we have here.
@MidoseitoAkage well, there's also Dr. Weil (pronounced "Vile", it's German), who's from the zero series, but you know, wily works better here.
@@megatron8449Don’t Forget Dr. Cossack (Soviet Russian Scientist being coerced by Wily to do his bidding) Mr. X (Actually Wily in disguise) Dr. Cain (Good guy doctor who found X) Dr. Doppler (minor villain from the X series) Dr. Weil (Cyborg doctor from Zero series)
Well, this is more respectful to the blue bomber than anything Capcoms done recently.
But Nintendo's the one doing the bot the most justice nowadays. SSB4, anyone?
Yeah, I like to call his final smash 'Fan-Service Blast'
BTW Ihavenoface that just sounds so wrong

I really do appreciate the fact that they tried with what i would hope to be no budget at all. but the fact of how bad the costume was i just couldn't get over. then i found myself getting flat out pissed off when "mega" did a charge shot... if it was a mega man x movie than by all means charge shot but no it just pissed me right off.
12 years later and It never gets old
Film is VERY good as fan film, however it could be better if creators had more budget. I`m not so good in english, but still I guess I understood most of lines. And...
Dr Wily is my favourite part of this film! At first sight he is just overplaying, but it looks so natural so you believe in his madness. "My name is Doctor Albert Wily, and I am going to rule the world!" - I like this line so much!
Thank you for a great work!
The guy playing Wily knows how to chew the scenery.
Whoever did his makeup should also get a raise.
archfiendbaramos I think you remind me of Nick Kroll
I can see some relativity between this Dr. Wily and that guy who played Jafar on the live-action Disney 'Aladdin'. Both ruined good movies.
Tanya Morris
Tbh I thought wily was really good in this. The movie would've been still bad even without him.
I know, right!? He looks like he's having a blast with the role.
This was infinitely better than I expected it to be. Cheers to everyone who worked on it. They did a phenomenal job.
This film is still in my mind after all these years and now they're making an official one.
It'll have a higher budget, but unsure if it will ever live up to how great this fan film was.
Doubt it
This has to be the best thing on CZcams. Truly perfect for any enjoyer of Mega Man to sit back and watch everything unfold. This is also immaculate dialogue, not too many one-liners like you see in disney productions. Also so many references are made I fucking love this
"You're gonna like the way you look. I guarantee it." - Dr. Light, 2010

This is, without a doubt, the perfect fan letter to Mega Man. I saw the first trailer for the film back when it was in production and couldn't wait to watch it. When it finally released on the website, it was worth the wait. From the build up to Wily starting his evil plans, to how Rock became Mega Man, and so forth. I especially like how the Robot Masters were done. They were half CGI, half actual actors. That was a pretty good touch to me. Add in the backstory for Blues and how he jumped in to help Rock. All in all, fantastic.
This was a incredible adapation of megaman's first game into a movie.
It is amazing how much effort went into this, this is really awesome for a fan movie.

the only problem I have is the shooting location. if the we're going for a real Fujiwara city I would have gone for Hong Kong or Tokyo

This was absolutely amazing! I can't stress how much this blew me away being a fan film. The easter eggs and nods were great. I nearly died laughing at Dr. Light's robot master tracking screen. Ah the memories.
I see a lot of people don't seem to understand the budget constraints of a fan made film, because this was AMAZING to those of us who played the game. Effects were used very skillfully and the plot added a ton of depth to the characters we love, even Wily, who was BRILLIANT in his role. You have done a MAGNIFICENT job here! Plot wise, blows away anything Hollywood will ever come up with. The music, cinematography, correography, and character development is all spot-on, it shows that you really are a fan of the franchise, even down to the old 8-bit graphic pics from the old game seen throughout. I will be looking forward to your other projects & watching this over and over again!! Thank you so much for sharing this with the rest of us!

At 56:47 when Rock said "he never mentioned her to me" I was like "maybe one of the reasons is cause you've only been activated a day and a half".
Good God, Blues completely stole the show in every scene he was in. Amazing how even before he got the classic yellow scarf (or cape, in this film's case), he still radiates that pure energy of a badass.
the guy playing Wily is incredible
Yes, he was awesome
I love how the movie subtly explains extra lives (Dr. Light has extra cores; my theory about why the explosion happens is that it's the core exploding and the robot returning to Dr. Light to get a new one).
a fan film that actually lasted this long? salute
yes.
Too bad it was shitty.
I would have to refer you to my past answer.
Why do I feel like this is *exactly* how Dr. Wily would sound if he had a voice in the original Megaman games? This is so freaking awesome! 😍 how did I not know about such an awesome channel like this??? 🤯
They got Wily’s hair totally wrong!
THIS WAS AMAZING! While the effects aren’t the best, everything else was spot on! The acting, story, characters! ALL AMAZING! 8/10 would easily watch again
Holy chalupas, this is amazing. So much love, dedication and reverence to the source material. You guys more than outdid yourself. So much effort to stay true to the source material. Great job guys you deserve more recognition!
I think my favorite scene was when Dr Light was talking to Proto Man, talking about the greatest gift he was given was free will.
Dr. Wily: I'm sorry... Please... Just don't hurt me... I'm sorry! 😢 I didn't mean it... I just... Just lock me up! Just don't hurt me! I'm just a weak old man... I never win! I NEVER WIN! 😭
Imagine if these guys made 9 or 10 more fanfilms like this.
I will say, the best thing about this film is Dr Wily himself. I mean, it just works. He's got the maniac thing down without making him too cartoony.
I agree, dude! Wily was fantastic!
Is it wrong of me to think that I feel bad for Wily because he also wanted to be known to

Years later came back to rewatch this. Still amazing. I was like 12 when I first saw it and thought this was a big release. I hope a sequel comes one day Dr Wily was spot on!
I was like 11 or 12 when I saw it in 2017
If this ever had a sequel, what if it was more epic? What if Mega Man would put on a show? What if Mega Man would even fight regular enemy robots and collect power-ups as he parkours his way to the boss? And also, what if there were also the E tanks?
Even though this is a fan movie, I can sense a lot of heart and soul put into this. This actually feels what a Megaman movie should be like. Its true to the spirit of the games while also putting on its own spin on the story of the Blue Bomber. Now, I know this movie is over 10 years old now. But the CGI doesn't hold up very well. But what matters more is that the actors put in a lot of effort into their roles. I like Megaman's personality in this movie. He's very relatable, and I find myself routing for him all the way. Dr. Wily seems to be inspired by his Ruby Spears incarnation with the accent. But I think that's the perfect accent for him. And the actor who played as Blues/Protoman really nailed his role. And nice little homages to the games. Like the Yellow Devil, and the Wily Castle theme from Megaman 2. And I love the end credits song. Its very epic, and it really brings out that climactic feeling of satisfaction. All in all, this movie is incredible. And I think it deserves more attention. Honestly, I would love to see more Megaman movies made with this kind of passion. Kudos, Blue Core Studios!
I like how they put some of their powered up personalities in there, Like how Ice Man, both is cautious, then snaps to a soldier. Fire Man always talking about Justice, and Bomb Man being cocky. Cut Man blaming Mega Man as the bad guy. Elec Man being the one full of himself. Finally Guts Man, calling Rock a little man.
Skull Man [DWN-032] So Ice is bipolar, Cuts is in denial, Bomb is nut butters, Guts is the heavy, Elec is a narcissist, and Fire is a bad cop
Velvet Sparrow LMAO
But guys I hate they’re ugly faces
Skull man (DWN-032 do you know why will capture you cause your a logo to Dr will and also spooky scary robots will shiver in your spine.

That was some top job on script writing! When I opened this video, to be honest I was merely expecting a parody movie, and it turned out to be great. Thank you for creating such a high quality fan film to us, I enjoyed it a lot.
Bro I watched this when I was a kid. It’s been 9 years since I’ve seen it and I completely forgot it existed.
there's fan-made, there are passion projects... and then there are passionately fan-made projects. This is the latter, well-done guys!
for a low budget noon profit film this was amazing! I absolutelly loved it!!!! great work!!!
This is what happens when people actually give a crap about the game. They wanted to make something for the fans to enjoy. The studios don't even TRY to make a quality movie. These guys had passion, and that's why this humble, low budget fan film was so much better than ANY VGM made for profit. Because they TRIED to make an enjoyable movie. I applaud these people for actually giving a crap in a world of people who don't.
Major studios try to make a movie that draws in non-fans to expand the audience. Unfortunately, the non-fans are almost always still not interested, and the fans are irate at the changes to the formula. So, no one is pleased with the results.
Holy crap, this feels so legit! Even for a fan film. Great work, keep up the impressive work!

I was excited to see the trailer of your fan movie back then. Never expected some studios decided to make an original fan movie with original plot and not reusing it from Megaman games which contains spoilers. And then 2 years later, I wasn't disappointed to watch your movie. It was amazing. And now I rewatched it. Almost 5 years passed and can't stand the nostalgia of the fan movie.

I love how Rock's helmet has a Diamond (it's a nice nod to the 1994 Ruby-Spears Cartoon, which also had a full grown teenage Mega Man!)
This was such a joy to watch! I really loved how all the characters were written! I wouldn't have changed a single thing. I especially liked how the movie decided to focus on Rock and Roll's relationship. They have such a great dynamic together and you can really believe that they are siblings. Dr. Wily was VERY entertaining to watch as a villain and I like how calm and collective Dr. Light was written! Blues was also very cool and I geeked out every time I heard his theme play in the music score! Can't argue with the CGI cause hell I can barely make stick figures look good, so who am I to complain? Overall, this blew away my expectations and it captured the feeling of Mega Man to a tee! So....good job :D
