I'm from Galway and one thing I notice about walking around Dublin is no one wears earphones, why would they? every corner there is talented singers banging out tunes. What a great city

I am afraid he is an exception , The 'old spirit' is gone 95% , If you can remember all the political parties from your time,, they have all sold out completely ... even Sinn Fein has succumbed to the radical left agenda. Dublin has fallen to it, the federal united states of Europe has been embraced by them all, media is compliant or complicit, the "typical dub" is vanishing, freedoms are being eroded and we will soon be the basket case of Europe, our unique island identity taken. I bet even our busker here is moved on often by over zealous Gardai .

@northsidedub1 I know , certain streets between O'Connell st and north circular are too dangerous to walk, the influx of foreign nationals in that area is scary, all the gangs running riot further out but travelling in on the dart as well. The drugs hell , homelessness.
I know the true Dubs are still around, I used to pop into the H16 pub 25yrs ago and have lovely chats etc, but not anymore, even the previous owner sold out for his safety.
But the heads over in the dail won't have to walk home at night.
I don't live there anymore but I visit , and my daughter pays €800 + utilities for the privilege of a box bedroom off the North circular/Drumcondra area.
But do u know.. Sligo, Galway, Cork, Longford, Dundalk, Drogheda and lots more are gone as bad... it's shocking how the entirety of our politicians don't care anymore, our culture , unique Irish Society , pubs , fun, safety.... they have shafted us royally .
I am the only one where I live now that gives the TD's a hard time every time I see them, but they get all offended and start bullshitting about some potholes or bad corner fixed , but it's our life's that are damaged beyond repair. The local lackey tell me to shut up and not be "upsetting" the goons that are there for years and years feeding off the people. Sorry, I have gone on. Cheers buddy.

If I was there I'd buy a take-away coffee and sit to listen to this man. He's well organized and sounds great. Ye can't beat the real thing. I'm sick of looking and listening to music through a screen but thanks for sharing all the same. Artists are having it tough theses days...
