What footing do you have in your outdoor? My farm is going to be building an outdoor & are trying to figure out what would be better than stone dust.
Ours is sand on the bottom, and then it has rubber and fibre on top which stops it getting deep and has a drainage system I place so has never once had water sit on top!! Xx

Do the they have rugs on in the day or night or just when they get turned out?
They have rugs on during the day and in the fields in winter, it all depends on the weather! In the summer they’ll go out naked (unless raining) and won’t wear rugs in the stables :)
Also depends on whether they are clipped or not. The ones clipped have necks on their rugs but unlipped ones have a lightweight rug with no next most of winter

Don’t you mean straw! Only one has shavings because she eats the straw (which can cause colic) x

7 Horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 6 chickens
