Awesome vid!!! Also a tip for the hay nets is to tie bailer twine to the metal hook in a loop and then tie the hay net to the twine instead of just the metal ring so it will snap if anything happens like a shoe gets caught in it. Love you Erin ❤️

My Shetland is the same! He’s fed on the top spec anti lam & a tiny handful of happy hoof, so he doesn’t feel left out, but he gets the most excited out of the three of them x

I skipped their stable as well as it makes me feel better that the bed is poop free before night, they also get treat balls cause why not lol
If you have any, would we be able to see some photos of the yard when you first bought it and what it looked like so we can see it’s transformation
The only extras I do at night check is pick any manure out of the stalls before I lock up. 😊

Yeah my barn we don't use haynets bc if we do the next moring most of the nets are on the floor so they have no choise but to eat off the floor. Btw I love your videos! And you got me into horse and riding.
I love how Sunny take the chance any time to escape the stable but when there’s food his mind is in a different place food before escaping

Are afternoon routine is tried in with our evening we go down like 5/6 ride depending on what day. Mum usually poopicks in the evening while I ride, we both make hay nets for the morning then it’s rug the pony up feed and chuck her in her stable so we can sweep and lock up
my stallion dunks his hay in his drinker too😭😭 i thought it was just him lmao

My routine is to go out to my horse straight after work to ride and feed 3 times a week, in the summer. I don’t have him at my place so it’s sometimes not possible to get out there every day around a 9-5 and running my online business! In summer I often do have to go out almost everyday depending as ky horse gets itch from the bugs, so I have to put insecticide on him 2x a week or every time it rains.
He gets an iodine wash once a week in summer also.
He stays rugged head to toe even when it’s hot because otherwise he rubs himself raw in summer.
My dream is to have an insect proof stall I can put him in of a night in summer!
In the winter I go out before work because I have more time before work in the winter and it’s more likely to be daylight! After work it’s black and cold in the winter.
I’m very lucky to have indoor arena where I have him which helps.

I love teddy
I fill up the hay steamer so it just needs to be plugged in for breakfast. And I scoop out any poo (thorough stable cleaning in the morning but I can’t walk past it and leave it be). Saves on stains too. One of my horses sops her hay too and makes a whole mess.
Do the dogs get dinner before or after the horses?
